Fire Flies Frame revisited

- A very old video revisited - as requested. In my last video i did not include the build, or the code - so here is both.
The Code is supplied in hex format due to lack of updates and old libraries used. I did try and update it to use the latest versions of fastled, but found it crashing all the time and very jerky. So compiled it using the original old libraries.

Hello, anyway to modify the number of leds used?
Thank you so much i already build some of your projects. Your videos are awesome im a mechatronic the electronic is the easy part for me but im not into arduino programming, thank you for the code ! Everyone should be able to build such easy but awesome lights with less money!

@@cine-lights Thanks for ur great works... I loved every pattern of vu meter and standby mode. In the Balls of standby mode u created 3 balls. Will u plz add a more one of blue color? Then it will be more attractive with 4 balls colored red,green,yellow and blue... Thanks in advance

Hello ! It looks beautiful even after a few years :) At some moments it seems that the lights are trying to push the frame :)
It has aged quite well... i did do a few little edits to increase the tail length. i did have the original frame hanging up for some time. but then used the matrix for something else. which is probably what will happen with this
Yes, now it's cheaper to buy a ready-made 16x16 matrix than to make from tape. Only finished it is smaller. 16x16 centimeters. for example from the same Chinese - aliexpress.ru/item/4001010808015.html
Looks great. could a mike be added and respond to music with on of switch to select between program and audio signal?
Now Bob... you maybe asking a little to much... or are you.. ? I am working on another older project which has the same animation in it, also has audio reaction, and animated gifs, and to finish it off... a built in clock... its just taking up very little time i put aside for these videos as i am so busy. but its coming soon

@@yarivh1 You can download the original code from th-cam.com/video/fSl4KJHPi4g/w-d-xo.html - i have supplied it in hex format as it doesnt work without problems with the new libraries and it saves anyone having to reinstall an older version of the library to get it to run.
