    Hello ! Welcome back with new ideas. I am using line in. It is preferable for me. Will the version be updated for him? Although, in principle, everything suits me in its current performance. I made a watch like in your video, I posted the result on my channel.

      I did see it, and thankyou for the comment. they do look nice. i still own one that uses a 60 leds ring place in a small frame. i am slowly getting some time back. so yes hopefully there will be some updates coming soon. quite a few of my projects i have lined up for videos have caused me quite a head ache - not working as i would like them, but im getting there.

    Everything is beautiful and looks great, but will there be a version on wemos nodemcu esp8266, with the app in your phone? I have been waiting and hoping for the second year.

      Hi, I will get there eventually. my to do list is crazy long. One of the next lined up projects has been on the list for almost 2 years. thanks for sticking around...

    Thanks, looks great. Good to see you posting again, hope all is well out your way. I really appreciate you posting your projects, as I've made quite a few of them over the years, my RGB cube is on proud and prominent display and works well even with the standard VU meter code! Thanks for posting, take care of you and yours, stay safe and healthy!

      Thank you so much. I always admire your work. The version with 90 leds works great. Unfortunately you accidentally put the 90s version in the folder of the 216s. The 90 version is in both folders. Maybe you can check that again. Please excuse my many inquiries. Best wishes. You are the best artist at VU-Meters

    Hello, really great job. I'm making a jukebox (something like Rock'o'la) and your VU meter project would be great for me. I solve the problem with 4 LED strips (2x 144 LEDs and 2x 56 LEDs), it is possible to use your project for 2 strips per channel. Thank you and one more great job.

I got the right parts - It's about the right sketch , I'm not a programmer , how can I set the audio input adjustable brightness and level like Scott Marley, and effects like You ??? No offense but it's important to me! Thank

    Hello. Is it possible to replace the MAX4466 microphone with the MAX9814 in the Bluetooth Vu Meter project?

    • @cine-lights
      @cine-lights  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi yes it can be done. but would require rewriting all the vu meters. it would be something i would look into, but the bluetooth versions i now consider closed.

    Hi.. I follow ur channel from a long time... and have been trying to reproduce your work.. many thanks... I am currently thinking of creating a 8x8x8 led cube with ws2812b leds .. any help from you would be greatly appreciated

    • @cine-lights
      @cine-lights  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Arindam, my experience with ws2812b led cubes is not a good one. Firstly its the viewing angle is only straight on. I am not sure how you intend to build the posts, but you need them to be very thin, so it doesnt block any of the rear ones. it is also 512 leds which will not only power hungry, but also memory hungry too - which means if your sticking with the arduino its going to be the arduino mega only. personally i would head towards the teensy boards. i do love my led cubes. i still have a 12x12x12 rgb cube to build..

    • @arindamroy1399
      @arindamroy1399 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have got frosted f8 leds.. not the smd ones... so can look similar to a frosted f8 rgb... the only issue is how do I program them to work as a music reactive cube and not a single strip. I have seen rgb cubes.. but this is different... i am already building a vu meter with the same leds and you code... but I would want to focus on the cube after the vu meter

    • @cine-lights
      @cine-lights  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@arindamroy1399 yes... i think I used them in a cube a while back. You may have to get a better power supply as from memory they prefer 5.1v and tend to flicker on just 5v

    Super Projekt 👌wants to rebuild it too :-) What are all the files in the Zip_File for ? How many pixels has the 3.5 "TFT LCD Shield ? and where is it plugged in ? Is there no need for a resistor for the neopixel at the DI connector ?

    • @cine-lights
      @cine-lights  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi.. in the zip file are the print files for the case and support for the lcd screen. Also hex files for the code, and also the hex file installer. If you watch the video you will see a power input jack on the side which fit to most 5v power supplies. Yes you can install a resistor to the data line and also a capacitor to the power input. This is just for protection of those parts. I have yet to cause any damage not fitting them. So I never do.. its your choice.

      @@cine-lights How many pixels does the 3.5" TFT touch screen have? And this is then simply plugged into the Arduino Mega ? And the code has everything the display / microphone etc. needs to make it work. Do I have to pay attention to something else ? Don't have the experience with it :-(

    • @cine-lights
      @cine-lights  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@matthiash.454 personally I would build the line in version as it has better sound reaction. Yes the mega just plugs straight in. At this time there is no limit on leds. How did you connect the TFT touchscreen to the Arduino ?
      And what profile did you use for the LED stripe because your 3D print is round ?
      And what do I need the code installer for 🤔
