great project, That's exactly what I wanted to do with the heater. Is it possible to get the circuit diagram from you, because you can't see not all in the video Thanks and best regards from Germany
There are two scenarios for the auto control, with and without external charge current. (1) With external charge current powering the heating pads: the heating pads will heat until the temperature raises above the set-point. (2) Without external charge current powering the heating pads: the heating pads will heat until either the temperature raises above the set-point or the battery voltage is drained below the low voltage cutoff set-point. Battery Protection by Design.
@@parkhopper3627 So, you can confirm that it si possible to set the heater to turn on ONLY when the JK BMS sees a chraging current? I wouldn't like to drain my battery heating itself when there is no needing, but only when there is a charger running. Thank you.

Hello Park Hopper,
Can you post the parts list here?
Unfortunately we don't get your circuit diagram
Thank you for sharing this. I am thinking about my new battery build and the heater pad solution. The heater switch thingy is awesome.

Hello.
Do one of you have the PDF diagram?
I can't fine a link on the description
Hello Park Hopper, can you Share the Diagram and Part List? Thank you very much 😊
Hi Park,.....
Do you. Have any idea how I can get the 7 position cable for the heat port. Seems klong has discontinued it.
You can try sprinkler cable 18/7 in Amazon.
how to connect heating pads? when I connect them according to the diagram, the mats are still heating even though the status is "heating off"
Did you try changing positions of the three-way heater control switch?
@@parkhopper3627where is this switch?
@@swiatowodskarbimierz9139 the switch is shown on the leftmost of the cover picture.

What BMS do you have?
@@parkhopper3627 I have a JK BMS B2A8S20P. I think that is the same like yours. Best regards Sven
I would like it also for the same jkbms
Hallo Sven, hast du eine Möglichkeit gefunden, das Beispiel nachzumachen? Grüße aus Burgwedel
I'm looking at buying the JK 2A/200A BMS for my 280Ah 16S lifepo4, can you recommend a heating pad? It goes just below freezing here.
Can you please share your wiring diagram?
The wiring diagram is in jpg format. How do I share with those who are interested?
@@parkhopper3627 could you please add link to description of this video?
@@1janoja The best I know how to do is to add a thumbnail. I don't have a site to link to.

Dose it heat all the time when the temp drop, or only when you apply charge current?

@@matteobusani the setup does not support what you have in mind. It only provides the stated 3 options on/off/auto.
