    When he found out, Ethan should have simply said, "fuk it," and moved away to begin life anew.

      I feel you on that! Honestly, walking away and starting fresh could've saved him so much heartache. Sometimes the best thing we can do is just say, 'Enough is enough' and focus on building a new chapter. What would you have done if you were in Ethan's shoes? It’s tough, but maybe that’s where real strength comes from.

      @@ABTop123 Comes a time if a man is truly a man he has to take action. Both wife and daughter were involved in this! Who knows if there was not other encounters with other men. After what happened after throwing them out, should of got a lawyer and gone scortched earth on the wife and daughter. If the daughter needed College help should of limited to a specific amount and forced her to get a job at Walmart or McDs for spending money etc. This incident wasnt five months or five weeks. It was five years! I guess at the end this was not a man of action and principles. Just another simp taking up the hershey highway with the wife and daughter smiling . Blaaaaa.

    If his daughter felt guilty, it would have shown in her relationship with her mother. If she loved him, she would at least be upset with her mom.

      Yeah, teenager should have scolded Mom (they do that)? She should have threatened to tell Step Dad? WHI HAS CONTROL OVER THE This is a typical issue when a chikd has a devoted step parent. We have a MOTHER DAUGHTER RELATIONSHIP. Daughter did not create the adulterous situation. Appatmrently, she had never even met Lying Ryan. Should a teenager have blown up her parents' marriage? On what life experience could she rely to make that decision. Why blame her when her lying, deceitful mother was the one controlling the situation?

      I totally get what you're saying. If she felt any guilt, it would’ve definitely impacted her relationship with her mom. And yeah, if she really loved him, you’d think she’d at least be struggling with some frustration or resentment toward her mom. It’s hard to imagine how she could just be okay with it all. What do you think might be going on with her emotionally? Maybe she's hiding her feelings?

      Wow, that's a tough situation to unpack! It’s heartbreaking to think of someone being used like that, especially when trust is involved. I can’t imagine how frustrating and painful it must feel to be treated as a “safe option” while someone else lives a completely different life. It really makes you wonder what people are willing to trade in their relationships just to keep things “comfortable” for themselves. What do you think? Should he keep playing the role or finally put himself first?

    So the daughter found out 2 years ago. Hmmm? Maybe, just maybe that would have been a good time to end the affair? She didn't. If she didn't get caught he would have gone on and on and on.

      @ABTop123  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You're absolutely right! It's baffling how, even after the daughter found out, things just kept going. That really would have been the perfect moment to stop, but it shows how deep some people can get into deception. If no one caught them, who knows how long it would have continued. It's sad and frustrating to think about. 😔 What do you think was going through their heads to keep it going after being discovered?

    • @ABTop123
      @ABTop123  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I hear your frustration, and I can totally understand where you're coming from. It does feel unfair when cheating or lying gets downplayed like that. Trust is such a delicate thing, and when it's broken, it's not just a simple 'mistake'-it cuts deep. I guess some people try to minimize things because facing the real impact can be too painful, but it doesn't make it any easier for those hurt by it.

    this video was really touching and well put together. I appreciate how you highlighted the complexity of rebuilding trust after betrayal. but honestly, I can't help but feel that some of these stories put too much blame on the cheater without considering the relationship dynamics. sometimes it's not just about the act itself, but also the deeper issues that lead to it. what do you think?

Sometimes, standing up for yourself, even in small ways, can feel empowering. But I think they only regret getting caught, 5 years of lying with a smile, 2 of which she had help. Clearly the guilt didn't kick in until they got found out. Years, she lied to him longer than they were in High School

      I totally get where you're coming from. It’s hard to wrap your head around someone lying for that long, especially with such a lack of remorse until they were caught. It’s sad when trust is broken like that. I agree-it might’ve been better to leave something behind, just to keep the peace and avoid more drama down the road. What do you think motivated them to keep up the lie for so long?

    • @VinceZanity
      @VinceZanity 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ABTop123 My opinion is that case of you'll do what you enjoy until you can't. I'm pretty sure the mother was just at the point where she got away with it for so long and so easily because she had a good husband who was dedicated to her and their family. He truly put all trust in her. Also, Im sure that fact she trusted him with what is most precious to her(her daughter). I'm sure her felt there was no reason to betray him, it was more his blinders than her keeping it from him. Her daughter, I do believe it was a case that flat out that's her mom, and at the end of the day, he's not really her dad. Or at least that's how I believe she rationalized it to herself. And I'm sure her mom kept reassuring her that he would never find out. And even if her did, I don't think she believed for a second he would cut her off for it. On a darker level, I kinda feel the daughter thought she could manipulate him on the low if he did find out, but no way do I think she felt any 'guilt' until he found out.
