The whole idea of a cheater trying to shame a man by claiming that they have a “bruised ego” makes no sense to me. Yes, you have emasculated him. Yes, you have emotionally damaged him. The woman is telling on herself. She purposely damaged her man with no regard for his feelings. A wife is supposed to protect her husband’s feelings, just as a husband is to do for his wife, not be the unrepentant instrument of pain. How could she ever be trusted again. She can’t. She broke her vow and justified it. If he lets it go, In the future she will do it again because, “it hurt him, but he got over it last time, this time will be the same.”
And what's even more hilarious is that if the same cheaters were on the receiving end of infidelity, they would be royally pissed off.
That is why i adore second wife and more over the stepdaughter that is daughter what would make every father proud.
I would outright reject the daughter when she came back to me after the wedding. I mean she is a smart grown woman, she cannot cling to such stupid narratives for so many years and so ingrained. This moment of clarity is BS. The expectation of "Hey I worked my stuff out sorry about excluding you, demeaning and cruelly insulting and maligning you for the last decade, I am ready to be forgiven and for everything to be okay now" is BS. I am a father and I would not put up with that "mistake".
Especially if she knows the escapades of her mother in second marriage and of sudden she has epiphany little BS for my taste by call me masochist i like the story anyway i one of the best i listen in some quite time.

i dont understand why that is the main wording in nearly every single one of these, its only a few times ive seen the husband say ok well i guess ill go find a woman for the night too just to try snap her out of her sh*t and make her see how much hurt she is doing when she thinks of it in reverse.
I have been married for 50 yrs to the best woman in the world, for me. It's the casual disrespect displayed twords the husband that I find mind boggling. I would like to think that when she first discovered she was loosing her love for me (or lust) . She would talk to me to fix the issues or request a divorce straight up. If she had the collosal bad taste to make it a battle, when the smoke cleared even if all I'm standing in is a big pile of smoking rubble, it's ok as long as it's me standing there.

Most of these AI's that do the narrations don't have one ounce of intelligence when it comes to sentence structure and the writers rarely proof read anything. They just toss it out there, get paid by the morons at TH-cam and move on to another one.
having night, having intem, kick their fifth place - - the absurdity of these references yet accompanied by descriptions of intimate relations between men and women is so childishly ridiculous - - I mean did Mary and Joseph ride into Bethlehem on a "fifth place" in the Bible ? if the word can be used in Biblical reference why can't it be used on You Tube and because practically every one of these stories revolves around sexual relations, infidelity and promiscuity not to mention a mental disorder or two with them always saying "if you really loved me you could let me have relations with someone else and it might actually benefit the marriage" or the classic "it doesn't really affect anything because it was just a physical act done without love " - - anyone who could say something like that and truly believe it should be placed in a rubber room for their own protection. It is a common practice in every day life to use an offensive accusation as the best defense - - to blame the other party to cover for an offense committed by the party whose actions created the whole mess in the first place and many people fall for it as common sense is anything but common these days

So you can't use certain words in a story but they can watch movies on You Tube that show all manner of sexual activity and nudity just shy of "tab D" entering "slot P" so after that censorship of commonly used every day terms is infantile

I don't know why they don't throw their words back at them. And inform the them that if she does this that you will be back later this weekend and start getting dressed up and go out and start chasing women. If she can find out if men still wanted her, then it's your right to find out if you are attractive to women and since she decided to cheat your vows have been broken and your not bound by them.
And see how much she is content with your going out and sleeping with someone else besides her. And since she started the Bullshit I would tell her whether it was true or not that the lady you met was intriguing and I decided that since she wanted to see me again that I was going too go out again and see where the relationship goes. And that since she broke the marriage vows you are no longer concerned with who she see and when that your going to date others and she can date whomever she wishes but nobody will bring their partners to the house. And your marriage will last until the kids head out to collage then you sell the house split the proceeds and then we divorce. If that is unacceptable then that is something you should have considered before acting unilaterally. Whether other people consider you attractive doesn't matter you married your spouse so if he is attracted to you is the only thing that matters. Anything else is ego stroking and unnecessary in the grand scheme of marriage.

I developed plan to deal with this type of situation and a bit more. Because my ex wife screwed me over. I don’t really think about it except when I listen to this type of story. I remarried to a Thai lady over twenty years ago. No worries about the Thai. But the plan is still there and as easy to implement as buying an international airline ticket.

OP was betrayed by his wife, children and his own parents. how could anyone forgive that?? I would have rejected all of them without any possibility of any relationship, let alone forgiveness. My wife knew from the start that I would absolutely never accept even the hint of what OP's wife proposed and if she ever voiced it to me, there wouldn't be any turning back. And while the fate of the AP , getting cheated on by the lying s--t might eventually prove painful, I would regain my dignity to the point that they would never find his body or recognize it if they did.

I have been married for just a hair over 40 years, I have been sick all of them with cfs now Diabetes. She has stuck with me all this time, but I fear she cheated on me before marriage and after. I cannot survive with her care now at 68, but I simply must know if she did cheat before marriage and after, what do I do? I as of now before confronting her plan to leave to a cheap motel and write a few things in my computer for her and my son to read at a later date when I'm gone. The pain has just gotten too unbearable to cope with anymore, she has no idea I am doing this. I think I will confront her right before I leave to get the truth, but she is a master at lying, and I doubt I get any truth. Just wish I knew exactly how to do this?

He took everything like a bitch. he did have choices. to begin with letting Clearance separate his family for starters then live with his kids and help drive the wedge. that is always manageable, the most manageable subject out of all of it and the thing that needed to be dealt with the most. he could establish fear with it without having a court subject for it. he would have to be dumb enough to get caught.

Yeah, he kinda chose the worst path. Although, there is no guarantee that staying would have meant a good relationship with his kids. His wife would have disrespected him and even more than before after he acquiesced to her. She would pass that disrespect on to the kids as she did even before he left.
I think going scorched earth on her socially, with family and with her jobs would have been the thing to do. Them Then the kids would know that what she did was not acceptable or tolerated, not just by him, but by society.
