The main characters in the story were badly wronged. She got free of her abusive ex and found a good man to love, but I don't think she really got any revenge. He got free of his abusive ex and the ex's criminal father, and maybe a little revenge. Not enough revenge... Then they live happily ever after. Nice story.
This reminds me of my second ex girlfriend and her family. They're like Shiela's and Mr Bloom's family. She had cheated on me with her brother/cousin who used to be a friend of mine. Interestingly enough, while this was 20 years ago, she, her brother/cousin, and her family STILL hates me guts for dumping her, knocking her brother/cousin out, then basically outing the two for that incestuous relationship which led to her whole family being sick individuals inadvertently getting revealed.
Another beautiful story where justice triumphs. Two poor souls, victims of evil and depraved people, met, fell in love and started a new life. Together, with the help of capable people, they defeated the brutal wickedness of their enemies and obtained justice. Duke also had a happy old age despite the stroke, he died happy and serene and was buried next to his beloved wife reuniting with his soul in the afterlife. Great work as always LLC !!!
Sadly there are people that are worse than dirt!! And I'm glad that they found each other and were able to live a better and fulfilling life together!!
Now this was my kinda' story. The baddies got justice served on them while the good guys and gals were nicely rewarded. The only sad part was learning of Duke's passing. Everything else was pretty much hunky dory 👍👍
