can't believe no one has sent you 'pålægschokolade' or Cocio before ^^ I'm just a bit sad that I can't be the one to send it to you now haha.
I subscribe to u
You are amazing at polymer clay miniatures
B..But cocio is swedish!: p
I'm pretty sure it's Danish. The place that makes it is here in Denmark - in the city "Esbjerg" and is owned by a Danish person ^^ it's a pretty small Company
Nordic Dragon Cocio is and always has been Danish :)
your neighbours dog really listens to you...
"neighbour dog, please" *dog shuts up*
Hun er ret god til at udtale navnene xD
EMMY YOU HAVE THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD YOU GET PAID TO EAT FREE FOOD
I'm from Denmark, and enjoyed watching your video, you're so sweet yourself 😃 ;-)
I'm from denmark too
Emmy~~ How you find so much word to describe all the flavour? XD
I think it's all that practice. She's been describing taste & texture & sampling food of all sorts from around the world, at least once a week for years. I think she uses more words now than in her old videos. But maybe I am just imagining that.
Too bad that the pork rinds (flæskesvær) were the industrial version. Real flæskesvær has a rim of fat attached that make them much better.
Yeah, too bad it makes for relatively shitty shelf life, which is why you dont see it much outside butchers shops : /
We have the packaged pork rinds in the States and we also have the fresh ones you're talking about called cracklins. Not easy to find and delicious.
The small blue bag from Netto has plenty of fat on them
Lmao Neighbor dog please! The dog stops barking. (:
Emmy eats Denmark? Please don't eat us!
grunden til vi er sådan et lille land er fordi hun æder os
BananagamerMovieZ arhhhhh min arm
dansk minecraft, gaming og tutorials den var god
bird yos vi ædder bare sverige
Wow, better than Nutella? I've got to try that one!
You should! But i Think the milk chokolade is best
***** No way haha! Here in Australia, Nutella is the holy grail. People would just eat it out of the container. I'm not big on chocolate so I keep away from that stuff...
Try the milk chocolate its very good
Nicoline Skovsen I will. :)
***** Thank you. I will. :)
Emmy, you should put together a compilation video of the worst things you've tried. I think that would be very entertaining and lots of us would like to see that.
Er jeg den eneste dansker her??
Nej
+Frida xoxo Freja nope
Nope jeg er os dansker
Narh.. Tror jeg ikke
Dansker her🤘🏻🙋🏻🇩🇰
I LOVE Dark chocolate :D
Emmy, you are so lucky!
I am Danish, and this is a cool video! Keep up the good work - From Denmark :)
Hey
Digestives and Hob Nobs aren't the same, Hob Nobs are oaty and digestives aren't. Anyway, love the video as always. xx
Oh my goodness Emmy, I've only been watching your channel for about a week, but I LOVE it so far! I LOVE how descriptive you are are I love how you always say "Mmm!" (Lol) and your videos are so well made! I love how much effort you put into your videos each time and I love the funny endings of your videos. :) Thank you for your delightful videos and also congratulations on your baby!
Annette Hamilton Oh, thank you. :)
+emmymadeinjapan i drink the cocio almost every friday(i live in denmark) :D
+Christian Wars Aagaard samme her:-)
Det er fedt du spiser vores slik Its so cool you taste our CANDY!!! $D
Ja det er. Yes it is
Det er så sejt og hun elsker der/ Thats so cool and she likes it
Once again, you always put me in a good mood by just eating foods from other countries. I like you reactions to the types of treats you try. Great video! :)
Hi Emmy! Hob Nobs are not digestives. Hob nobs are very oaty (quite rough) whereas digestives are more of a wheat (more smooth). (for those who doubt me, I am british- lived here my whole life- and I eat a stupid amount of biscuits!!)
"first price" is one of the lowest quality brand in scandinavia,
their prices is very good, but you get what you pay for :)
All these treats sounded really good...especially the chocolate mints. Mosquitos love me too but that's definitely some love I could live without! lol =}
I don't quite understand why you only take a bite and high caution with the alcohol chocolate...? The amount of alcohol is negligible. Yet you seem to have no problem eating the other alcohol-free snacks loaded with sodium, sugar, fat, transfats and hydrogenated fats which are terrible for the baby.
She stated quite a few times before that she rarely eats snacks and sweets outside videos. I don't quite understand your logic with alcohol being negligible towards the baby. And high levels of alcohol can harm the baby's health so it was smart of her to be careful
You should taste our KiMs chips with sour cream and onion! Or "Snack Chips" by KiMs as well!
Yes realy next time you have to try the sour creame and onion
Yay Emmy! looking beautiful as always 😍
I visited Copenhagen couple monts ago, but only Danish food that I ate was Anthon Berg chocolates. I'm kinda angry now cuz some of those look really delicious... :I
What if Emmy was lying about having another baby and she was actually a weird kind of fat from eating such diverse foods? :9
im just blown away how quickly you are able to put VERY accurate words to the "nature" of the different tasteings! great videos ty!
Hello! This must be the first time I watched one of your videos before 301 others did before... that food looks great!
We don't like to sweeten our food or snacks too much in Denmark we focus more on the different tastes in our ingredients than pure sweetness :). That's why many foreign snacks appears overly sweetened to us :D at least in my opinion ^^.
Neighbours dog please .. Haha Love ypur reaction Emmy 😂😄😄
I is for itchy iguana. And hip, hip, hurra for Mr. P. for not sending liquorice!! :D When I saw the title of this video, I said to myself "oh no! poor Emmy!". ;)
That was my intention, not to send her liquorice, to show her and the world that we have soo much more to offer in Denmark :) I almost felt badly for her after watching the first danish video
poertjt2 would you consider doing a trade or something. I really want to start my own TH-cam channel and expierence foreign foods.
Nooo! Digestives and HobNobs are not the same or "otherwise known as" each other. They are each yummy in there own spectrum, differently. But the UK will forgive you for it because your reviews are awesome! :)
Mosquitos love me so much they bite my bum! I didn't wanna say butt... sounds so crass.
No no no no no, you need drink the refrigerated Cocio from a glass bottle. It is like magic, you get the 70cl bottle and think to your self, "hey I got a lot of chocolate milk, just a quick taste before my food is ready", bottle is now empty.
Cocio is the best kakao in the world ;)
Emmy you are so beautiful, and i enjoy to watch ur videos! :)
Omg. Im from Denmark and its so much fun sitting here watching u vids!.Becuase i know how all off the stuff taste:D
We pronounce it Ko-kio or kokjo
Please do a swedich eat
hope your child is happy and healthy -best whitish from denmark
I'd love to try that chocolate-on-bread stuff on a bagel or banana bread. XD
The amount of alcohol in the Anton berg stuff so kids can eat it
those firstprice flæskesværd isent really the real deal. its a really cheap vertion of it.. if you ever get the change get the real thing. so much better. :D
Altså de oplysninger du har brug for står på hendes kanal, så det er bare at komme i gang og send en pakke afsted!
poertjt2 :P Hvis jeg havde råd til sådan noget med den smule jeg tjener..
why is there ALWAYS construction around you? ahahaha
It seems to be a looong term project. :)
That Ain't Real Flæskesvær. The Flæskesvær From The Butcher Is much better
Du sender bare en pakke af sted :)
I'm from Denmark to
And I love the pork rinds that you eat I love them so much
And congratulations because you're pregnant
And their chocolate milk in a can I love that that colds "Cocio" in danish
You have to try more Danish candy
I just love to watch your videos because you're just very sweet person and I love you so much
I love peppermint too
Love you Emmy
Good luck with your baby❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
istedet for VIP CHIPS, skulle det ha været OSTEPOPS eller et favoritmix.
**instead of VIP CHIPS, it would have been Ostepops or Favoritmix :D
@Tjallex enig
Finding this video years later, but I'm enjoying it so much! Your review is so articulate and genuine. Love from Denmark!
emmymadeinjapan hi there Emmy :) the Cocio is allso very good in the winter if it's hot. very popular in the danish "pølsevogn" (a danish style fastfood shop that sell danish style hotdog, witch u HAVE to look up) at winter to go with what ever u'r eating :)
A hobnob isn't a digestive...
Please do portuguese treats !
Fry's peppermint creme from the UK
Oh no dont eat Denmark we are small anyways
neighbor dog, please..
Good luck with your new baby
As a Dutchie I am unimpressed with the bread-chocolate. I prefer the Dutch hagelslag and vlokken :) I hope someone sends you those.
Which one? We have so many different versions ;)
Yeah, De Ruijter specials extra puur. Definitely something Emmy would like!
Just looked up what you were talking about, never heard of it before (I'm from Denmark) :) The plus thing about the "pålægschokolade" is that it's very... easy or what should I say? :) the hagelslag and vlokken seems to be tiny peaces that would go absolutely everywhere when you turn the bread or something :P
But I would like to taste it some day :)
One word: butter ;)
But if you like a thick layer, like me xD, then it wouldn't stick ;) haha no I see what you mean :P
cocio is acutally said ''kokio''
Omg you are so awesome i'm from Denmark and we say thinks different than you but your good at pronouncing a lot of the words :)
Your pronounciation of "mintfrøer" was very very good! Well done!
i think you can prenounce "pålægschokolade" better. just an idea.
for me, it sounds like: "pole-egg-scho-colatee" if i should say it for an english spoken person.
Its pronounced po-legs-choko-lade.
lolllll neighbor dog please!
Hi Emmy, The treats look great. I see the construction concerto had a dog soloist in the show lol :)
The pork rinds look delicious i hope everything goes smooth with you and your new baby good luck in we love you
Have enyone sent you the Daim bar yet, Daim and the soda faxe kondi allmost have cult status here in Denmark
Daim er ikke dansk så jeg tror du skal prøve at tjekke hendes svenske videoer. Men en faxe kondi er god ide :)
Rigtigt :-) kom jeg også i tanke om, så de svenske efterfølgende :-)
I can't understand the responses. But, incase this is new information, yes, someone did & she made a video about it. Perhaps sampling different Diam bars? She absolutely *loved* it.
It's really funny, she sounds kinda swedish or norwegian when she tries to pronounce the danish words
Most of theese are made in norway too like the kims and the cocio
The nordic countries share a lot of the same products :)
I was so offended when you said it was better than nutella. Like.. I am really hurt right now. Nothing besides pizza is better than nutella. NOTHING!
The sensitive sound quality of this video is filling my ears with divine sounds of opening snack bags and munching on crunchy and crispy snacks... Oh no,... I think I'm drooling ;D~
Oh i had these pålægschokolade a few times already... never knew it was from Denmark (not that i realy cared x'DDD) I actually have to say its not my fav.. but i dont even like Nutella or anything sweet at all on my bread. I rly liked to bite into it doe x'D So if u like Nutella im sure you would love that stuff...
If I was Caucasian/European/white(???), I'd definitely want to be Danish.
Not English, not German, not French...DANISH
Can i ask why?
From a curious Dane :)
poertjt2 Well, for one, I'm absolutely in love with the language. It just sounds so enticing to me and all the pronunciations and sounds are just incredible (in my opinion.)
Secondly, their historic culture is very intriguing in the sense of vikings (of course, albeit Danish vikings weren't necessarily the ones to discover iceland, go to North America first, etc.), the fact they used to just plummet the English during those times, and their modern culture is just as rich. They're the happiest country in the world (statistically) and it's because they know how to treat their people and what not. PLUS THE DANISH PASTRIES (which they stole from the Austrians because the Austrians actually invented it :D)
I dont know the Danes have always just fascinated me so much haha. I really want to visit and learn the language. Wow what a long reply, my bad ;A;
paperpand13 Thats actually really cool. Nobody really wanna go to Denmark. So thats nice that some people do;-)
From a Dane too;-)
:D I think you need to check out more TH-cam videos - Lots of people wanna come to Denmark :)
Digestive biscuits taste good, but they sound gross. They sound like they would taste fibrous, like cardboard.
chocolate and bread..
tea and a chocolate biscuit..
Emmy, you're reviving all of my culinary sense that I've been losing over the summer!
Wooow I want some of those vip chips they sound amazing
Bit of advice, don't buy the First Price brand for quality. They basically make the most basic version of so many foods.
A list of some of the foods they sell:
- Raisins
- Chocolate milk
- Peanuts
- Cookies
- Strawberry jam
- Pasta
- Sweetener
- Chopped tomatoes
- Sausages or "Hotdogs"
They even sell things that aren't food like:
- Toilet cleaner
- Rolls of paper
- Diapers
- Cat litter
They basically sell the very plain and boring versions of products, that other companies make at a higher quality.
The only good thing about them is that the prices of the products, they sell, are much lower than the same product, but from a different more-known-for-that-product company.
btw, the "salt chips", you tasted last time, were seasalt. The "hav" in "havsalt" is sea in English.
Go Denmark :)
i love the way you say KIMs (btw im danish).
As funny as it is watching you make the yuck face, I'm glad you got to eat lovely dark chocolates instead of a million varieties of salted liquorice this time.
Did mosquitoes always love you this much or have they picked on you more since you became pregnant? (Just watched the SciShow, 3 Reason Mosquitoes Suck video.) th-cam.com/video/CKyrVzvjHWw/w-d-xo.htmlm47s
#NeighbourDogPLZ
Oh boy, I miss those thin chocolate wafers so much! I've been to Denmark a few times to visit family, and I would always finish my breakfast with a piece of buttered bread with a bit of that chocolate on top. 😁
Cocio is actually easy to make at home, it is simply 3 Ingredients, unless they changed the recipe, which they may have, as the company was sold a few years ago
Milk
Sugar
Cocoa Powder
It just needs to be low heated for 30 Minutes :)
The original recipe was made in a normal Kitchen, by a married couple, and i was born in the city it was invented, Esbjerg :)
Big fan! But I've got to ask what are you saying just before you taste the "pålægschokolade" on bread?? I've noticed you have been using the term before in other videos :D
Can all the English calm down lol. She mixed up digestive and hobnobs because Mcvites makes hobnobs and they also make digestives. Simple mistake guys :) Emmy this is what a digestive looks like en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digestive_biscuit it doesnt have chocolate on them unless theyre chocolate ones ^-^
I had those pork skin shavings once and I must admit, they were just horrible. They tasted like something stale and there was this disgusting layer of fat, ugh.
Yay Mr. P!!!!
Pork skins with beer. Man you know what's up I LOVE YOU! I just subscribed FTW!!!!
Love how the dog stopped barking immediately after "neighbor dog, please" ;)
I love your tasty videos! What's the URL for your blog, I mean, you have to have a blog where you rate sweets & treats. 5 Emmys means heavenly sweets while 1 Emmy means disgusting (such as licorice)
Skilpadde means turtel
And those mintfrøer actually means frogs 😊
I am from Denmark, a little country, and it makes me happy to know that a American tries our Candy! So cool😂😂😊
I'm a little bit dissapointed you didn't remember the "sapito" form Chile (I'm chilean). That frog you ate looks almost identical to the "sapito" :'(
When you got to the Anthon Berg Sweet Moments, and i heard you were pregant, i felt so sad for you, they're the best! and they cost a FORTUNE! XD
This is a lot more like the things I grew up with and I think the whole thing about the Cocio is spot on. I don't like American chocolate milk, because it's always way, way too sweet. Same with most of the chocolate in general. I think it's just a different taste palate. Definitely makes me homesick though!
5:18 Emmy: Neighbour dog,please..
Dog: Shuts the fu*k up :DDDD
Please dont eat denmark, i like living here.. please eat the moped rules instead.. i want a moped car, and its illegal here without a CAR licence.. even tho it only goes like 30 km/h -.-
also the price of a car license is over 2000 USD in denmark
Is marzipan not that common in America? I just noticed that you keep explaining what it is to the viewers ("it's a kind of almond paste"). Also, great selection of Danish sweets!
Cocio is actually inspired by american chocolate milk, since the traditional danish chocolate milk is a bit different. It is called "Kakao mælk" (Cocoa Milk), is lot thicker and has a heavier chocolate taste. Cocio taste basically like Kakao mælk thinned down with regular milk.
Cute Emmy happy dance at the end is cute. And mosquitoes love me too, Emmy. As do fleas, as I am finding out.... We have some semi feral kittens here where I am staying in NZ, and the fleas are eating me alive... >.
Loved it haha! By the way, there's a difference between Danish and French...
Yummy box of treats!
There are cell phone apps that keep bugs away. Look for one that uses more than one frequency. Turn it on whenever you go outside, or when bugs might come get you. It works for me!
First!
