Nice video are they preloaded I bought a on box from a friend and it was preloaded already is the stick preloaded because when I got it it was still wrapped up in the paper the Box just wondering and where can I find the prices on the onn box
Glad to see you spent some time talking about the remotes. For me, it's important that the remote is able to control the TV's on/off, volume, and input switching. The ONN devices do all of these things, which is not the case for many of the Chinese boxes that are out there. Side note: The two year extended warranty on the 4K puck is less than $3. One warranty covers the purchase of multiple units as there is no locking of the warranty to a specific box.
I have a 1080p tv out in my garage and I love this streaming stick. Much easier than brining my PS4 out of my room every time I wanna watch something in the garage.

The box is great couldn't say anything on the stick the 2nd box is just as good as firestick 4k
I've had my Onn box for six months now and I personally like it better than the firestick. As for it being cheap, all I can say is I've had 3 firesticks break on me, be it they crap out and stop working out the remote stops working. So by comparison I've had no issue with the Onn box.
How can you have 3 firesticks break on you? What do you do with the remote? They should not break unless you're playing catchy with someone. I have never had such a problem nor have I read about anyone else experiencing what you've done.
@@groppo8the newer remotes are not made like the older. I'm beyond careful with my stuff and I had 1 go bonkers on me from not working or button presses not working.
Isn't the onn stick HD not 4k? It was 15 bucks over the holidays here in Az I got the puck looking onn box
The stick is 1080p, the puck is 4K. Keep this is mind those specs are what the units' will pass-through to your TV. Your TV does the upscaling to fill its screen. About the only box that I have heard of that upscales content is the Nvidia Shield. The only time it matters about 1080p vs 4k is if your content source is 4k. My opinion, for 5 extra bucks get the puck, as it has more RAM. Then for less than $3, buy the 2 year extended warranty.
Thank you for this video. I did get one of these and it works great, with one exception. I cannot figure out how to get it to turn on both my HDMI Tv as well as my AV receiver at the same time. It will do one or the other but not both at the same time. Any idea if this is a capability, like it was with my Firestick 4K?
Nah I need the tivo 4k stream in order to do that or the fire stick also did this I know of. Nvidia shield also. I'm a remote nerd
My mibox3 finally died. It was from 2015 no bs. I'll be getting that new 2024 onn pro. 3gb ram and 32gb of memory. That's huge from the old 6gb. I always use usb sticks for extra memory anyway but there are some things u just can't do with external memory.

I'm not getting rid of my fire sticks. I also have an ONN and three fire sticks. The fire sticks allow me to access the Amazon recast DVR. And it allows me to connect my phone so I can look at my recordings or shows just about anywhere in the world.

Walmart. But spend the extra 5$for the 4k cause it's faster and it won't over heat. Dongles have a tendency to get too hot and then not work good. It will piss you off.

Onn is a really crappy brand. They are always the cheapest brand in Walmart whatever the product is. I accidentally fried two Firesticks with their shitty charger cable. So now when I even see that brand I ignore it. Not surprised that you broke two of them, it is a very cheap brand. For that reason I would never recommend ANY of their products.
ONN streaming box and stick are only reliable products from ONN never had any issues at all and all my friends and family have these streaming devices over firestick and we're happy but ONN is a budget friendly brand so it's only for people who can't afford the more expensive so if you can buy all the firesticks and expensive brands why did you even try it with electronics the cheaper priced brand are less quality but I will say ONN is the best affordable smart TV and streaming device but if you are getting accessories like plugs and cords and etc. I don't recommend ONN
I didn't recommend ANY Onn products. Fire sticks are not that expensive. I would rather not have anything if Onn was my only option. My son bought an Onn computer mouse, and it broke within a week
