You are a genius man!! It was very difficult for me to understand supporting and the logic about it, even autosupporting, but now is all more clear, and the grid supports really makes things tidier and overall better. Thanks, will watch all your other videos about supports :)
Not easy, because it means having different exposure per layer. Lychee Slicer can do it, but most file format can't handle that... :( You can't imagine how many limitations are from the file format and some fimrware limitations...
Fantastic new feature and really good, clear video. I’m going to have to relearn my supports but that time investment looks like it’s going to pay off in faster supporting and reduced resin. Nice problem to have ;)
This support system is amazing I've had sections of the supports on large prints come off but becouse the grid allows the supports to support each other allowing for the print to be susseful 🎉
I'm super excited about the new features upcoming and can't wait to try all of them over the summer the only thing I'm bummed about is my Anycubic MS 5 pro is not on their, but I cannot change the resolution to my own profile will this also be in the future update.?
Thank you for the very nice and clear introduction! It makes sense to me now :). I'm 3DSQULPTS, sculptor of the Thief and Tiger and I wish I knew all of this when I supported it for testprinting and release. My question is, do you have a goto grid interval (more or less) for tall prints or do you go with your guts? For example, I'm supporting a cape that is 200cm tall and about 18 wide. so it fills the plate of a midsize printer and I tend to oversupport it. Cheers and thank you for your videos (and nice words about the sculpt ;) ).
Feature request for second reinforcement, have an option to connect them as a triangle, for very tall and heavy object i like to make triangles to combat both x/y forces equally.
You need to add an option for the height which bracings start eg. Above 10mm fir example, every support shorter than 10mm won’t get braced. Also an option to set the maximum bracing distance between supports. For example, supports that are far away could still get braced.

now that's a real french accent, people who say I have a french accent have no idea what a french accent sounds like
thanks for the video
Great stuff in this video - The supports projection is brilliant
Thank you so much for this! I think you've just made my life a lot easier !
Thanks for this. I haven't used Lychee in a few months, and I was confused about the new auto bracing and etc.
Fantastic intro to the new features. I can't wait to start using them!
It would be good if the slicer could generate calibration prints for resin exposure times. The new additions are awesome. Keep up the good work!!!

great video, will be watching this again after i download the new lychee version!
Continue le bon travail!
Merci beaucoup! Thanks a lot :)

thanks a lot for the explanation :D

This is extremely cool! Why did I not know of this? :D I'll support my stuff with this to experiment :O
Is this already our? I am missing the option for the grid support (I am a pro subscriber)
@@HuntersOA You need version 6 Public beta, it's available at mango3d.io/downloads/ or in the official Discord server.
interesting. I have a pro subscription and the grid support option is not shown

@@PolyworkshopInEnglish Thank you so very much.

It is already in the todo list :) (I need them myself :p)

Very interesting! Merci beaucoup!
I hope it has been helpful!
when i try to right click, recalculate i get a software crush!!
Can you send your LYS file to the technical support with your computer information and the steps to reproduce the bug, please?
I m not Shure about the steps that cause the crush. I Will try to figure It out and Shure i Will send everything ti the support team!!
I think faild prints waste more resin than having lots of supports and bracing
Finally.. won't need voxeldance then
