    Can we normalize people being responsible for their own triggers instead of expecting content creators to constantly adjust their content for them? If you know you have issues with calorie counting and ED, perhaps it’s not a good idea to continue watching a video titled “ Example of what I eat in a day during a CALORIE deficit” just to trauma dump in the comments about how the calorie counting triggered you.

      If u look her videos -- any video that she is wearing faux leather pants -- shows clearly she is slightly bow legged . In a lot of countries they call O legs 🦵🏻. I only know cuz I have 2 gfs have them in the past , my male friends would point out to me (I didn’t even know the term Bow ). Ppl with bow legs they have “appearance of muscular look 👀 NOT cuz they have more muscle , their legs r not straight so the muscles 💪🏼 develop at sides instead of front(thigh) or back(calf) . It bulges out more also cuz they will have harder time to balance so legs will have to work extra hard . Sorry I am not throwing shades ! My Daugher is dancer …. Doing so much training ! Very hard on legs 🦵🏻, I had to do a lot of reading 📖 about O shape n X shape legs . To monitor her posture since she’s growing fast . Happen to see article about Bow legged ppl alwyss look more muscular it’s false Visual. It’s the Apparance when muscle pouts out at side . Not throw shade at all cuz i happen to know about why they look more fit . The 2 muscles 🦵🏻 on the calf over lap . So 1 muscle normally behind the leg now Climb On TOP another muscle . Looks BIG but it’s NOT.
      If U see her Halloween outfit --.
      It’s obvious . Usually she cross or bend her knees to cover it . Or wear ankle socks 🧦 to fill in the gap.
      I am only sharing it cuz I don’t want other girls/women like u to see the “muscles “ n feel bad/insecure for themselves “not” look as “fit “ .

If you're actively struggling with an ED or if you have recently been struggling with one I know it's very hard to not watch these videos when you admire the creator making them/admire their physique...however, you should know by the title that it will be triggering to you and you cannot blame the creator for that. This also depends greatly on your activity level! If I have some intense workouts, I'm going to eat more the day of and probably the day after! Second of all, people CANNOT complain how triggering this is to them when it states that there is a calorie deficit at the very beginning of the video. Just giving everyone a reminder that every body is different, and what may be a good diet plan for one person might not be the same for somebody else. Instead of only looking at what other healthy people eat, looking at what is right for your body is most important. :)
    Which also means that criticizing somebody's diet just because it is less/more than what you eat doesn't mean they are being unhealthy.

    • @Unclejamsarmy
      @Unclejamsarmy ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This is true in a literal sense but I think the “every body is different” thing is misleading and kind of dangerous because it leads people down anti scientific anti evidence paths where they think their subjective perceptions are more important than the objective truth. This applies to diet, recreational drugs, medicinal drugs, exercise in all sorts of ways. And lots of things that are good for you feel horrible subjectively at first or sometimes just always. Humans are overwhelmingly the same, that’s why we know what medicines treat which diseases, how to lose weight, that racism is wrong, that sexism is wrong etc. Every individual human is 99.9999% the same as every other.

You were already warned when she said "calorie deficit" in the beginning of the video. Sure, you CAN watch the video to the end, but if you get triggered then you can’t blame her. You can’t make EVERY single content creator change their content entirely when the only thing you have to do is scroll. This is a perfectly normal calorie amount for someone her size and weight in a deficit, it was nutritious and had plenty of protein, but also made allowance for snacks without deprivation. She even put “deficit” at the beginning as a warning. If she had chosen some lower calorie/higher volume foods, I’m sure no one would have noticed, but not everyone likes high-volume eating! People fail to realize that caloric intake is different for every person on the planet. There's no one size fits all when it comes to dieting correctly. All depends on your body type and metabolism. I dieted for a year and lost 40 lbs only eating 1700 cals per day (3 meals and a snack if I felt like it) along with working out 3-4 times a week. It's not easy and it came with a lot of struggles but in the end it was entirely worth it for the change in my lifestyle and mindset.

Boiled eggs, turkey bacon and berries for breakfast. Quinoa and chicken for lunch. My dinner varies but it’s usually some kind of Hispanic food. I eat out at least once a week. The key is to drink A LOT of water. I drink 85oz a day. It keeps you full. 1500 looks different for every body. You don’t have to make it miserable. Portion control, letting yourself still eat what you crave, and drinking water is key. I also still have lots of energy to go to the gym 5 or 6 days out of the week and I have a toddler at home too!
