Humans are constantly encroaching on their habitats, hence you get those human-animal conflicts in which both sides loses. If you give these majestic slothbears their space and due respect of their privacy we would see significant less of these unfortunate accidents. I highly recommend you to become member of Wildlife SOS to appreciate the plight of one of the most iconic creatures in India.

This is so dishonest! The sloth bear is the most aggressive of all bears towards humans. It is responsible by far for the most horrific mauling attacks. These are unprovoked and are often lethal. If the victims do survive they are often left without facial features including eyes etc. These bears are very dangerous and this video is a real disservice.

You’re talking about impoverished villagers that are living in the same towns as their ancestors. They’re displacing nothing. Extreme conservationist laws make taking action against these bears before something happens very difficult. Here in the U.S. Bears have exploded in northern New Jersey and overrunning the ( already existing ) suburbs. Thankfully these black bears aren’t as aggressive as the sloth. But still here in liberal Jersey there is a limited bear hunt to get this population culled somewhat. Yet there are fanatics that object to this regardless of the danger the bears pose to little children. Regurgitating activist talking points from the safety of your ivory tower isn’t very convincing.

@@achillesheel7314You misinform people, then ask someone who uncovered your lapses to join you. With all due respect, he is better off without you. I just watched a video where a sloth bear stood up to a tiger. Only to check you tube and see someone trying to label them "least aggressive". Indirectly, you are committing murder in a part of the earth you never knew existed. But lemme guess, you don't care

@@Rodeo.WThey will even fight tigers and tigers tend to stay away from them unless it's an ambush. Tigers will get injured trying to attack unless it's an ambush.
