Dear Yoland Kwok: While I value your engagement and enthusiasm in sharing these "treasures," I must express my concerns regarding your behavior during some of PD's events. Your presence was notably prominent after the Verdi Gala in Budapest last December, where I had the chance to witness your actions firsthand. Adorned in a furry coat and a matching hat, you navigated your way past the queue at the employee entrance despite the biting cold and the presence of individuals waiting patiently, including a lady on crutches. This maneuver is perfectly positioned for you to greet the Maestro after he emerges from the elevator. With several photos for him to sign, you seemed to disregard the presence of others around you, seeking his autograph and a photograph with him. Seeing his bodyguard intervene professionally, guiding you away from the situation, was a relief. I hope you sit out the Australia tour so that others can greet him.
Thank you for the comment. It was my first and maybe last chance to greet him personally. I won’t show up in Australia, you don’t need to worry. By the way, all other fans there are fans of Placido for decades, they have been seeing him for many years not like me waiting him for four years because Covid I could not meet him! And I also travelled far from China, and I do have my knee injured before the trip. I hope you would understand my situation then comment. And I why I was standing there not leaving because I lent my writing pad for Placido to sign for other fans.
Cast is everything. I saw a video of Placido and Teresa Stratas of the first act of La Boheme, an opera I h ave seen many times. Ho hum, I thought. Yet from the very first note this was a special performance. The acting and singing were exceptional. One felt every emotion and every note Puccini's pen wrote. I should have such good fortune to meet my own Rodolfo in such circumstances.

Btw, do I know you before? Are we friends on Facebook? How do you know that person is me? 😂
