Great reviews Dan. Just found your channel and I have been watching all your videos. Would you recommend Soji or Breck or Series 1? With black Friday, they all have a very similar price.
Hi Dan. Excellent review. I'm seriously considering a Soji but I have questions regarding the options. With how loose the armrests are, would you avoid the 4D arms and go for height adjustment only? What about the base material? Does the aluminum (in black) have any real benefit over the plastic?
@@marknewell9213 Hi - I definitely still recommend the 4D armrests. The looseness on the depth adjustment is only a minor inconvenience sometimes but by no means a deal breaker and hardly noticeable most of the time when youre using it. As for the base theres not too much of an advantage for the aluminum base over plastic aside from aesthetics. I suppose technically the aluminum is a harder material, the but the plastic they use for the base in these high end chairs is so dense that its pretty much negligible.
Thanks for for your reviews I'm enjoying them, I wanted to ask your opinion I'm interested in either the Soji or the Amia. Which chair do you like better and why. I'm 6 ft 255 lb and I do get a sore tailbone sometimes which out of these two chairs that I mentioned do you think it would be best for me? By the way I have tested a Leap version 2 and I wasn't crazy about it I didn't like how contoured the seat was. Thanks
Thanks! The Amia is a much better chair than the Soji in my opinion, but it's also a much higher end chair that costs about twice as much new. I actually prefer the Amia's seat to the Leap v2 specifically because it's less contoured. Because of this the padding feels a lot more evenly distributed. If you're willing to get a refurbished chair, you can get an Amia from Crandall office for about the same price as a Soji and Crandall actually makes their own seat pad for it that's a bit thicker and more padded. I think this is a good option for heavier people if you're concerned about the seat pad bottoming out. If you want to check that out, you can find it here bit.ly/4fE0qqP
Hey! There are deals on both the Soji and Refurbished Amia chairs ending today, so I really want to make my decision. I am 5’10 160 lbs. I really like the idea of getting a new chair with a peace of mind return policy that the soji provides, but I like the idea of the top of the line engineering in the amia. Both are basically the same price, and roughly the upper limit of what I want to spend (although I have looked at the leap v2 refurbished options too many times also). I will be doing a lot of work on a tablet and also like the idea of the forward tilt option on the soji. What do you think I should get?
Hi there! I think you'd honestly be happy with either chair. Your body type is basically the definition of average, so both chairs will have more than enough adjustability options to fit you lol. In terms of buying new, I totally understand that. You'll get a fully assembled chair with 12 year warranty and 30 day returns, but a lot of reputable refurbishing companies also offer you a return policy as well giving you a 12 year warranty directly from them instead of the manufacture. I recommend either Crandall Office or BTOD. I've bought refurbished chairs from both of them and the experience was pretty great in both cases. As for which chair is better, I think the Amia is a better chair which makes sense since it's a $1000+ chair new. I think the seat is more comfortable, the armrests are better, and its just built a bit better overall. The Soji is also great for the price, so you can't really go wrong with it. As for the forward tilt option, I personally wouldn't base your decision off of it. With the Soji, its not even as impactful as is is on soming like the Zody where the height goes high enough to where the forward tilt lets you use it with a standing desk. It's much more subtle on the Soji and in my opinion not even necessary since the Soji's neutral position is already pretty upright. Hope this helps! Please feel free to let me know if you have any more questions! And if you do decide to pull the trigger, I'd really appreciate it if you'd use one my links if I've helped you!

Amazing content. Thanks. I just pulled the trigger on a soji thanks to your review.
Subbed.
Thank you for your detailed review. I was able to finally decide on getting the Haworth Soji. I'll be looking for your future reviews.
Thank you for detailed reviews. You helped me make my chair purchase.
Thank you for your detailed review. Very helpful in making my decision to go with the Haworth Soji. I'll look for your reviews in the future.
Been checking out a lot of your videos for a chair purchase. Shocked you don't have more subs. I was assuming you'd have thousands with the quality!
Is this chair good for someone 5'0 - 5'7? I'm worried the seat depth is not shallow enough
@@xhotsnowx It shouldn’t be an issue. The adjustment range is pretty good. I’m 5’6 and it works great

@sleeksetups thank you Dan

6:45 the gap between the seat and the back is insane on the Fern.
Sold!

I currently have a Hyken and thinking about upgrading, how would you compare this to the staples hyken?
The Soji is a much better chair than the Staples Hyken pretty much across the board. Better build quality, adjustability, and overall comfort.
Hey, keep going, very high quality content already! Hope you gain the audience you deserve soon enough :)

sick review bro, hoping one for the fern and zody

Can you play guitar in the chair?
Yea, it's not the absolute best for it, but you can manage pretty well.
