Commercial farmers to fulfil FRA contract

Commercial farmers, who were contracted to supply the Food Reserve Agency FRA with early maize in Central province, are on course to fulfilling their quota by June 30th 2024.
The 29 commercial farmers have so far supplied the FRA with over 466,000 by 50 kg bags of non GMO maize out of the targeted one-point- one million bags.
This came to light when FRA Public Relations Coordinator JOHN CHIPANDWE and officials from the agency inspected the early maize distribution exercise in Mkushi district.
