I gotta say as a single indie dev I have a lot of respect for the creator of this game. It's wild and expressive and you can see a whole lot of love and work went into it.
Honestly normally these bottom steam games are cynical asset flips to make money. But this is clearly different, a guy wanted to make a bat shit crazy drifting and game and he did it, albeit rough around the edges.
Yeah! There's this funny thing when you wear down people's expectations enough where you can get away with so many things and even make it fun for them too. AAA's use it to make boring grindathons popular but it works in reverse to make stuff like this and (more famously) Cruelty Squad be really fun to play, if only for the spectacle

Actually, you know what game you should check out? Lada Racing Club. Back when it was coming out this game was HEAVILY advertised and hyped up as the biggest Russian racing game, had genuine Russian car licenses and a tonn of ambitions, when the game came out it ranked 3 among the best selling games and the game itself turned out to be notoriously bad. So bad that this game is considered by some to be the biggest disaster in the whole Russian gamedev industry. I think you'll find it interesting
I think you're kind of underestimating just how disastrous LRC was, there are people pretty high up in the Russian gamedev industry who say that LRC pretty much single-handedly ended the Golden Age of gamedev in Russia (though IMO that honor goes to the crisis of '08 and the state of the industry at that point, but I concur)
i think steam doesn't take any game seriously right now. you could just make a random war game with tetris block and had story similar to left 4 dead and upload it on steam and got approval. they only bother when someone reporting it, other than that why bother
I think the effort is commendable. Is this a game I would recommend fully in good faith? No. But I respect this game because it's interesting and cool in its own way. It would be better to send this guy money than to buy a Ubisoft racing game.
At 3:22 the tank in the middle of the road is a Japanese Ha-Go, an late 1930s light tank that kinda sucks (funnily enough the model might be stolen from war thunder considering it’s a tank that is actually featured in it, but so bad that it is hidden until you unlock rank ii like the old French reserve vehicles)

(Namco usually uses the number 765, which can be read as NaMuKo) Edit: not sure if 4:24 is another reference as well, but Motorstorm Apocalypse (Motorstorm 3 in Japan) has varying track layouts that change with explosions deforming the road 8:11 holy shit, another folk who knows about Enthusia, thats awesome!

the score reset seems to be because you scored so much that it did not fit into a signed 32 bit integer anymore. meaning your score was higher than 2^31-1 = approx 2.147 billion basically the amount of space reserved in memory is not enough to store your score so it goes negative (but displays 0) anyways cool game
this looks like a classic example of "dude wants to make game way too big for one person to make, has noclue what direction to take his game so just adds a bunch of random stuff over time." I know this situation all too well.
