Daggerwin's videos are why I am an accidental fan and player of FS 19 and 22. TH-cam's silly algorithm recommend one of his Survival Challenge videos cause I watch video game content and bushcraft survival challenges so I watched it out of curiousity and then I watched a few more. And when Epic offered FS19 for free I decided to try it and now I am fan of not just DW's video but of Farming Simulator. Also I have a whole new appreciation of the time lapses.
I personally believe a Unimog will be a good fit for this series. It is a jack of all trades and fits the European area. It is a German vehicle after all
Sheep reproduction explanation: you have sold a lot of the sheep that were worth a the most, also the oldest sheep. You only have a low amount of sheep mature enough the reproduce. They have reproduced recently (3 months ago) and it will take a while untill they are ready to reproduce again. The other sheep are still lambs, so they won't reproduce untill they are older (age above 12 months i guess, but not sure). We cannot see all the information, but that's most likely the explanation. You might get about 10-12 lambs in a few months time, but then it will take about 10 months for the younger ones to be ready to reproduce. Next time, don't sell all the matured sheep.
Completely agree, but just to clear up your guess, in FS22 it takes lambs 8 months to mature to start reproduction (so 13 months to first lambing, if health OK)
To keep it realistic instead of using the palletjack and the jcb most farms atleast on the east coast of Canada would have an old massey or ford tractor like a 135 sized machine with a front loader to move pallets and do animal work course thats here in Canada Ireland may be different
Really enjoying your realistic series. I started of only this week, so just at ep 6 now. I think I saw the question in other replies too, but would you please check out if it is possible to create playlists for your series that would make it so much more convenient to binge your videos. For the rest, keep up the good work! Thanks
also, just so you know, crops only grow when you move onto a new month. the sheep also need to be at 100% reproduction before they give birth (10% per month so the ones at 40% will be another 6 months)
Dude you should sell your tele handler on the farm and buy a decent one with price after the harvest cause I don't like the telehandler from the cab view can see a lot out of the window
Yes I would like to see the Mercedes unimog the 90s version on the series that would very multi purpose tractor like the JCB fast track yes I agree about the JCB maybe a manitu or a merlo or a new holland or a JCB it’s amazing to see how much silage was produced from that little John Deere compact tractor yes I agree you keep cutting the grass around those olives trees with that little John Deere compact tractor you are going to make so much profit fast loving the series daggerwin the Massey Ferguson 590 T Massey Ferguson tractors are ok would love to see a Massey Ferguson mod pack for there combines of the 90s the Massey Ferguson 32 34 36 38 40 series combines one day if there was any modders out there who could do that
17:00 I think you may have sold off all your adult females so you don't have any ewes old enough to breed. All the ones you have are too young. I didn't get to see enough info to be sure but I saw a lot that were only 3 months old. 3:50 TBH IRL I would have closed that cover and sat what was left on top of the spreader and carried it home.
there is a mod which allows u to collect government subsidys which is quite realistic be cause most countrys give farmers subsidys pls consider adding it
42m lime spreading and grass clipping silage in the realistic series lol daggerwin! I do very much enjoy this series, maybe you could watch some farmer Phil to get some good ideas for how it’s really done.
I tried to explain sheep in a comment on episode 19 but it must have got too long and YT rejected it. In Ep 19 (March) you sold almost all your mature Ewes capable of reproduction and from what I could see from pausing the video in various places, I predict you will have no new lambs until July. When you had all the different groups of Ewes, each group was a different age, so each group was coming into maturity in a different month, and once mature, they then take 5 months of pregnancy before they lamb. So when you are reading "reproduction 40%" that is a mature Ewe who is 2 months into her 5 month pregnancy. They have enough food and water, they just need to finish their pregnancy. In March you had a few Ewes at 10% and a few at 20%, the big group that was giving you massive numbers of lambs had just gone back to 0% (they had just lambed) and you sold most or all ot them in March, because they had the highest sale values. in future, you could prevent a population explosion by paying attention to where each group of Ewes is in the reproduction cycle, and selling older lambs to make way for new ones just 1 month before PS: I also said I think it is OK to experiment with olives, because there are always a few farmers trying new crops for an area, especially with the climate continually evolving.
That's exactly the reason. Crop growth and animal reproduction are monthly. I'm running 2 days per month right now so I have more time to get things done between cycles since I'm running 6x speed. It's a great balance.
I don't know if it bothers you that much, but it used to irritate me. There is a mod on modhub that turns the "leveler" function off on buckets so you don't push your pile all around while trying to scoop up what's on the ground.
WTH happened to the Saturday Ballu Springs episodes with ol Dennis?!! I recon its just another one tossed aside and to be forgotten like many others. Time to give up on Daggerwin and move on to someone that is consistent.!
Do you realise how difficult it is to edit those videos and still put out videos every single day. Stop being so disrespectful and start appreciating the free daily content you get. You probably only watch dag for the survival roleplay so stfu no one cares or asked for your opinion
Idk about everyone else but I like 3rd person view when you’re doing field work
watching these videos always makes me want to play fs
Same

loving this series so much youre doing a great job keep it up mate :)
5:05 what would you have done if you actaully did? just recovered it?
To keep it realistic instead of using the palletjack and the jcb most farms atleast on the east coast of Canada would have an old massey or ford tractor like a 135 sized machine with a front loader to move pallets and do animal work course thats here in Canada Ireland may be different
Every farm has "the old tractor" like a massey 135, Ford 4000 or similarly sized zetor, fiat or IH.
You should change the capacity of the kubota spreader so when you spread lime again you can carry more lime
Would be useful but it only goes to 10,000 wich is very unrealistic
@@finn_sheldon yes, at least he can carry more and it will last a bit longer when he is spreading lime.
Might as well, he already started giving stuff unrealistic capacity with the mower
0:15 so yeah that is now *unofficial* part of the field :D Sorry, i couldn't stopped myself.
Might not be an action movie/series, but it is indeed funny 🤣
You sold all of the breeding lambs…
Lambs don’t breed
4:18 LOL

In the meantime you should watch his haut beyleron series it was his peak content imo
He pulled off a diddly squat classic :)
i enjoy this series more every episode. loving the realism facet. on the sheep... you sold the ones that were reproducing
Love to see a serires you on Clarkson farm map
Thanks for another great episode
Im glad im not the only one who was wondering if there was going to be a roleplay video and not surprised there wasnt
It will be out when it’s out
Greatest video on the channel ever can I please have a shoutout every day of the week for a new video from your channel best channel ever❤😀
also, just so you know, crops only grow when you move onto a new month. the sheep also need to be at 100% reproduction before they give birth (10% per month so the ones at 40% will be another 6 months)
Has survival roleplay finished ?
Noe it will be out when it’s out
Have you tried the big bags as default mod on modhub?
Hey Daggerwin. You aren't breeding sheep because you sold the breeding age ones. Give it a few months and you will be swimming in lambs again.
was the tractor misbehaving again?
Dags what’s going on with survival ?
hes taking a break, will be back in the near future
Is there a mod to manually attach front loader tools
You can tilt the forks to see the bags
Dude you should sell your tele handler on the farm and buy a decent one with price after the harvest cause I don't like the telehandler from the cab view can see a lot out of the window
Use easy dev controls to change your FOV for interior work to 75 degree. It makes a huge difference
Yeah it takes time, but that is the realistic part of it 😉
What do you think about the weights on front the tractor??? Can you make one video the yousage correct at 900kg to 3t???😎👍
Is survival role play finished
you need to set up your joystick so you dont have to use the mouse for the front loader which would make it easier and more realistic
also known as "pulling a jezza"
When you said you can hardly see the bags on the tm I've got one and you have to lean to see the bags it's just like real life
Dagger i love this series
I’d see if you could ask the dealership if you can swap over the deutz for the jcb as it’s not a practical machine for what your doing
Can you get Renault tractor on FS 22 on PlayStation 5
Why don't you ask the dealer if you could trade the JCB for their telly handler?
Yes I would like to see the Mercedes unimog the 90s version on the series that would very multi purpose tractor like the JCB fast track yes I agree about the JCB maybe a manitu or a merlo or a new holland or a JCB it’s amazing to see how much silage was produced from that little John Deere compact tractor yes I agree you keep cutting the grass around those olives trees
with that little John Deere compact tractor you are going to make so much profit fast loving the series daggerwin the Massey Ferguson 590 T Massey Ferguson tractors are ok would love to see a Massey Ferguson mod pack for there combines of the 90s the Massey Ferguson 32 34 36 38 40 series combines one day if there was any modders out there who could do that

Hi daggerwin when will survive rolplay continue
You should see if you can "trade in" your JCB for a telehandler you prefer.
there is a mod which allows u to collect government subsidys which is quite realistic be cause most countrys give farmers subsidys pls consider adding it
42m lime spreading and grass clipping silage in the realistic series lol daggerwin! I do very much enjoy this series, maybe you could watch some farmer Phil to get some good ideas for how it’s really done.
Day 1 of getting Daggerwin to update the playlist.
Where's survival roleplay gone
There is a mod that when you unload you get it in the bags I use that myself

I've never played with more than 1 day per month, but I assume that's why you're not getting germination or reproduction?
That's exactly the reason. Crop growth and animal reproduction are monthly. I'm running 2 days per month right now so I have more time to get things done between cycles since I'm running 6x speed. It's a great balance.
It might be because they are not 100 % reproductive, just a thought
WHERE SURVIAL ROLEPLAY
Just don’t be like Jeremy Clarkson

@@HarryRidgwayoh youre one of those people are you?
