Edsels don't get enough love!
Turquoise was a very popular color in the day. Back in the 50's there were beautiful, bright and exciting colors to choose from. Today, you can have any color you choose too, as long as it is black, white or grey.
What a pretty little EDSEL., 🥰😁👌👍
I just got a 59 Edsel ranger to restore it. It going to need a lot of work but I hope I can get it looking like that one.
I always love Edsel cars especially that 59 is gorgeus
I've always been much more of a GM guy , but I must admit that I have a soft spot for the Edsel! I think it's just because of their quirkiness and the fact that I like weird Oddball cars that nobody else has. I guess that's also the reason that I hot rodded a four-door 1977 Chevy Impala instead of the usual Camaro Nova or Chevelle. Although I've had tons of those in my lifetime too! Great video! I appreciate the walk-around of this rather relatively rare Ford product..
I always thought that the Edsel was a underrated car. Thanks for sharing
Gorgeous!
You can see how the 50's dinners reflect the cars of the day.
Nice ride.🙂🇺🇲
Back in the early 70's, a friend's dad was storing an Edsel he was convinced would be worth some big money "one day." I lost track of that friend and I'm sure his dad died a long time ago, but I've always wondered what happened to the car and whether or not they gave up on it or finally got that big money. The truth is, anything built from the mid-sixties or earlier is worth that big money these days. Thanks!!

It's funny how they could not sell those cars in 1959. Maybe it was just a little before its own time. There is a better market for it today.
My Dad sold Edsel's along with Mercurys. I always liked the exterior and interior but my Dad said that transmissions were horrible so he sold very few of them. Great looking car-horse collar and all!
Love the customer’s cars videos. I never thought the Edsel was ugly. Oh. When is the AMX video coming. Looks like a nice ride
My uncle just bought this car before Christmas, I thought it was a beautiful car but was hard to start during the cold
That's a beautiful car sharp way before my time though
You can see the better looking 59 Fairlane hiding under there.
The FE engine with a Ford automatic transmission and a column shifter I don't see how anything could have went wrong with the drivetrain I guess a lot of the gadgets didn't work well
I don’t think “Edsel” will ever live down their stigma.
Do you have an 04 Mercury Maurader resto-mod for sale?
With that Grill design people said it looked like it was sucking a lemon also
Later on , Pontiac virtually copied it !
FE stands for Ford/Edsel
🖒👏🔝🇧🇷👍
Edsel was actually positioned between Ford and Mercury, not Mercury and Lincoln.
The Ranger and Pacers were, but the Corsairs and Citations were between Mercury and Lincoln. I had Corsair and it took only lincoln parts. It was a good car! Wish I had it now!
Terry
@@terryegan5113 No, the entire Edsel division was between Ford and Mercury. The Rangers, Pacers and wagons used Ford chassis, the Corsair and Citation used Mercury chassis, but they were never marketed or priced above Mercury. I too had a Corsair, it never gave me any trouble in 12 years.

I have one for sale . Any one interested?
