    Catching up on some of your older content Jag... You do a great job and I've really enjoyed everything watched so far. I've had issues in the past, but pretty sure my soil is in much better shape nowadays (more nutrients & more porous). With that in mind, I'm ready to give it another shot. I bought a two citrus trees today (mexican lime & mandarin orange) and I'm hoping your tips along with my improved soil will help correct my failed citrus tree tries of years past. Cheers!

    Grew my citrus plant from seed & it has a lot of thorns! How do I identify the suckers? I read that I need to remove the suckers since they would not be producing fruits anyway & they would just compete in getting the nutrients. Problem is I don't know what they look like. Is it true that the stems of a citrus plant are rounded, if not they would be just suckers & need to be removed?

    • @hallo-xp2wh
      @hallo-xp2wh 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Graft it
      Take some scion(good fruited one)
      And graft it.
      As you have alredy trimmed it
      So grafting it not a big problem.
      If you are sure that your plant is a good variety which gives fruit(know to you when you buyed it)
      Then give some compost(vermi or cowdung)
      Give these
      1)bone meal
      2) some sources of phosphorous
      Phosphorous makes tree to fruit and flower

    Hi your videos have been so helpful I'm just starting out ,I'm starting out with a seed from a store bought lemon I want to grow it indoors stating now it's getting a little cold I'm in NY what soil or fertilizer do I need for indoor growing from seed? Could I use a store bought vegetable container as a green house since you mentioned it needs sun or can it be grown without a small greenhouse container .If I start seed now and grow it outdoors in April or May how long will it take to see a lemon 🍋 Thankyou

    • @BrookeandBaby

      A store bought seed will take 2-5 years to even start to produce lemons! I’d recommend buying a tree that’s already ready to start growing lemons. I got one on Etsy a meyer lemon tree it was $80 but worth every penny!
