I have a dwarf orange tree in my front yard for over 25 years, it produces tons of juicy oranges every winter, I always share them with other family members
I have been growing a lemon tree for 6 years. I planted it as a seed from a lemon from my mother in law's lemon tree around when my son was born. I've even moved the tree with my family across the country. It's bigger than me and has never bloomed. I didn't know growing from a seed could produce a plant that never blooms. I'm giving it one more year with all these tips. Thanks for the video, and wish me luck!
A neighbor's lemon tree, part of it, grew into my yard. I chopped it out, together with the roots, and planted it at a different location. It grew healthily but never fruited. I decided to grow an orange tree from seeds; instead, I got a lemon tree. In the first 5 years, it fruited. The other tree, eighteen years later, I was about to get rid of it to make way for my guava tree (also grown from seeds), but I noticed some lemons. I kept the tree. Maybe be patient.
@@TheBluestar2009 I have not. I had to move across the country and while the tree came with me, it suffered a massive blow to it health and lost many of its leaves. It's making a come back, but every time I get it healthy, something happens that I have to put it back into survival mode instead of budding mode. I was so close! I saw one flower bud before the wind of a 3,000 mile trip ripped everything off. :( Hoping that I can get it comfortable again.
I just planted 2 seeds from lemons I got at the store, but had no clue what I was doing. Thank you for this video. Both seeds have sprouted, and have leaves. Thanks for this! I've been wanting to (successfully) grow Lemons and Limes for some time. One year good, the next year not so good. Great knowledge and tips! Looking forward to some heavy fruiting citrus plants. plenty of good pollenators in the area. The summer heat can be a problem for us. We live in Zone 9 but do get freezes once in a while. Can grow lemon plants indoors in pots as we do here in Delaware. They do well as long as you put them out in the summer and keep them in a sunny spot near a window in the winter. Quite hardy.
Good stuff. In Florida, my biggest issue is the Giant Swallowtail butterfly. Since it only lays its eggs on citrus, I have to decide whether to remove the caterpillars or let them feast and destroy most of the foliage. This year, I’ve let the butterflies win and fortunately, I’m still getting a decent amount of fruit. Meyer lemons take a long time to ripen though.
Many thanks for these wonderful Tips I've been wanting, for quite a long time! Apparently, I've been getting some of this right, on my own steam. However, I feel a trifle more efficient with this Process now and, will duly report in good time, how much (if any) Progress I've made!! BLESSINGS!!!!!

Can grow lemon plants indoors in pots as we do here in Delaware. They do well as long as you put them out in the summer and keep them in a sunny spot near a window in the winter. Quite hardy.
Same here but Ireland is more sunshine than scotland
THANK YOU!!! Thank you for sharing so much beautiful knowledge with us 😁
Today i want to plant my meyer lemon bought from shopee in a container. I hope it will grow and produce lots of fruit later. Thanks for info.

Thank you so much for mentioning vegan fertilizer. I use azomite would this be the same or better than the rock phosphorus? Thank you
Thanks. Azomite contains everything macronutrients as well as trace elements 👍

Which do you see gives better results, epsom salt in the water when watering the soil or as a foliar spray?
Foliar feed gives better results and they look lush in 2-3 days.
