How To Add A Domain To Microsoft Office 365

Thanks for the video! One thing I still don't fully understand. Do you need Google Workplace on top for the personalized email address? Or can you creat it with Office 365 once you have included the domain as shown in the video? When I want to buy Office Business Standard, first thing they ask for is the business email address to check if I need a new account. I could have a business email address using Google workplace...?! however I don't want to use it so what am I doing wrong here? What email address shoulld I use for my Office 365 account then? any? I'm new to all this...
