      Good luck. Use a double thickness of strong thread and the longest needle you can find, c x

      Thankyou for that tutorial.
      I've knitted a 20" bear and the instructions have told me to get plastic clip in joints but I looked on Amazon and they are very expensive. This bear is working out to be a dear project as the yarn had to be 4 ply,over £2 for a 50grm ball....I'm hoping your method of fixing movable limbs will work for me, fingers crossed.

    I used this tutorial to make a sew on the small mouse plush I’m making and it was super helpful

      Glad it helped. It's not as 'safe' as safety joints but it's so much easier to get the right positioning, c x

    i have a bear pattern that says attach arms and legs to the out side of the body, i think using this method has a much nicer finish to it,

      I usually use doubled thread and go through each button about 4-6 times, c x

    This helped me to repair a soft toy that had lost its arms while being played with by a grandson. Now I realise that this toy wasn’t meant to be played with by a small child.

      Could you do a short video on attaching the legs on the bunny?

      @@kathyshirey9446 The legs on the demo bunny were prestuffed and then stitched into the bottom seam of the body. You can always button joint legs in the same way as arms though, c x
