    Perefect. Tx. I have a rabbit I made my daughter 35 years ago that needs it's legs & arm reattached. She just asked if I could fix it so she could use it in her Easter decor for her home...lol. You confirmed for me that I should use buttons this time around to secure it better. Happy Easter from Ontario, Canada.

    What is the purpose of the washer? Shouldn't the two discs hold the cotter pin in place?

      I heard her say the washer goes against the smooth side of the disc so there will be no friction.
