Nice to see you working on vehicles in a video again, using this as my inspiration to install my new suspension for my Tacoma I just bought…. Never worked on suspension in my life
Well good to see ya on TH-cam again after Ryno ranch. It was always fun to watch y’all working on stuff. And thank you for your service in the military.
Make sure you have the right drill bits for the frame! You need two. One for the bolt to go all the way through and one for the sleeve to slide in. The sleeve drill bit doesn’t go all the way through to the other side. Just far enough to get the sleeve to go it.
Dang that is a huge difference for 4.5in lift. I have a 4in teraflex on my wife's XJ and with 32 on it now, 33s would be kissing the fenders. I did a long arm on my 04 WJ and it is so nice driving it on and off road!!! Subbed!!!🤘🤘🤘
I came real close to unsubscribing yesterday, because you hadn't posted anything. So close! Glad to see you posting and the videos don't need to be all about rehabbing vehicles. Some of us just like you for you.
Detig, respect you alot! Love how the square body turned out. What are you doing with the red Wrangler over at Ryan's? Maybe you could give us an update on the overall fleet; last we saw, you had enough bikes to start a mc by yourself.
I didn’t want to cut my fenders up and the extra lift isn’t worth the loss in MPG’s just to fit 33s without any trimming. I did minimal trimming and fit 33s fine
@@squarebody_Tig yea that’s true but I already trimmed my fenders to fit 31s stock without rubbing haha. The problem is where I live you need to be high and have lots of up travel to in the ruts and muskeg.
Just so you know for future sake. Those straps are primarily for pulling, not yanking. You can mess up your recovery points and in this case the strap very fast if you try the yanking method with them. You need an actual rope that isn't a static rope to be able to yank the vehicle out. The "issue" with the long arm kit is miniscule compared to the better ride and travel you get out of it each day driving. I'd gladly trade the one or maybe two times I would have to drop the crossmember for how smooth the long arms make the XJ.
Snatch straps are standard. Made for "yanking". I have used snatch straps on HMMWVs, LMTVs and my Jeep XJ. Get the correct straps and you are good to go.
Good to see ya in video again! If you don’t mind me asking I plan on starting a TH-cam and was just interested in what gear your using? (Camera and mic?)
Just curious, what is the white film on the bottom of your Jeep? Thinking about a long arm for the Bumble Jeep after I do the SYE and 33's. Also doing shackle relocation brackets (DIY) Nice project. God bless and stay well.
What's up bro , was wondering if you were ever gonna start a channel , should of had Ryan give you a plug and let us know u where starting it up , get u a lil jump start ,
You have to do the transfer case rubber bushing right away or u have drop whole front of the lift everything u have do again so not worth it just put new one in dont be cheap

Ohhhh shit here we are ! I have been waiting for “Derrick” to start a channel!
Love the video. I have the exact same lift I’m getting ready to install. I like the way you just burned through the process and showed how it’s done.

I’m sure I can make that happen
Agreed! Happy to see you on your own Chanel brotha🙌🏻
I will be getting the 4.5 long arm I think as well, thought about the 6.5 but I don’t know witch I want for sure yet!

Nice video. I'm trying to make videos also but get shy I guess lol let's see how it goes but keep up buddy was fun seeing you again on the screen.
Awesome dude 🤟 I need a garage like that!
Saw your ig post and had to come see what’s up. Glad you started a page, but where is the k10 that thing would have pulled that Jeep out no problem.
Good to see ya in video again! If you don’t mind me asking I plan on starting a TH-cam and was just interested in what gear your using? (Camera and mic?)
right on bro where you are in Florida hope we can hit the trail some time ✌
Jacksonville
@@squarebody_Tig nice jeep Beach is coming hope to see you ✌
@@fiebre4x418 you just might!
Love new parts days!
Cheering you on from Canada bud
Good looking rig I’m guessing the 4Runner is long gone
Good to see u don't forget to tighten ur bolts up
What happened to the 4Runner?
More of these please! I’m actually looking for a cheaper 4x4 rig, I’m a Toyota guy but their expensive. Thinking the Cherokee is the way to go.
100% these cherokees take a beating and there isn’t much to them. Parts are in every junk yard. If you find one with no rust pull the trigger on it
@@squarebody_Tig in my area it is getting hard to find xj at salvage yard these days
Slip yoke eliminator will be a must, don’t want to risk that coming apart on the trail.
It’s on the to do list!
Love it! Good video, good times. I think you need a Bubba rope or a yank em rope, either way you need a kinetic rope!👍
Just curious, what is the white film on the bottom of your Jeep? Thinking about a long arm for the Bumble Jeep after I do the SYE and 33's. Also doing shackle relocation brackets (DIY) Nice project. God bless and stay well.
Jeep looks great 👍 Which kit is this?
once you have the short arm done but should do a ride quality comparison long vs short on same roads, same speeds
Will do!
Hell yeah man! Excited for this! You don’t even have a profile pic yet 😂
Hopefully soon! Haha
Been waiting for this! Get dmax ryno down to fl with you for a little bit
Make sure it's all tight
Good to see you man... So how come you are doing two Jeeps built similarly?
My girlfriend got jealous of all the parts I was ordering and wanted some too haha
Getting the same lift and same size wheels/tires, how much trimming did you have to do?
LETS F*$%'N GO!!!
SO HYPED!!!
What's up bro , was wondering if you were ever gonna start a channel , should of had Ryan give you a plug and let us know u where starting it up , get u a lil jump start ,
tow hooks and skid plates are both rare on an xj
*for sale* haha
Land Cruiser recovery? Does this qualify as emotional damage?
Hell ya your frist vid was dope asf
Hell yeah love it!!
Congratulations
the first time always hurts the most
Hahaha
Good stuff, is that your new house?
“Now that we put our faith in our lord and savior harbor freight” 💀💀💀 dawg if you ever start doin merch and stickers include this in both 🤣
Cool Video! But you know, its Jeep, you never have to explain why it's dirty.
Atta boy!! Glad you left the fart in there brotha🤣 Jeep turned out killer man🔥🔥
Hell yeah brother about time you did it! Can I buy you a creeper lol
Love the content 👌
OG gang here we go!!
What offset are you running on the wheels? I have a 97 xj putting 4.5 inch lift on it and haven’t found what offset to run.
-3.75 is the go to
@@squarebody_Tig thanks bossman!
How big is your shop?
thats whats up , been waiting on this
Finally pulled the trigger and just did it
I think this is my first time I’ve seen him tighten bolts
What happened to the yellow square body you had for your dad?
It’s in south Florida. We just rebuilt the carb for it. I have the carb here in my shop actually.
You going to King of Hammers?
Don’t have plans to
Sweet found ya. Fun times
Do you still house the square body
I do
And the jeep looks dope
Finally 💪🏾
Good shit Detig!
