  • Welcome back to our install series on this Jeep Cherokee XJ.
We will be installing a 4inch lift kit on this Jeep with a long arm kit. As of right now the Jeep won't turn over to start, doors don't open and it needs some TLC. Our goal is to have it shredding the trails by the time we are done with it.

I use self drilling/tapping bolts from fastenall to fix the broken upper shock bolts, then reinstall with antiseze.

"Dont bolt your breaklines to the block then bolt the block down..."
2 seconds later *bolts lines to block then bolts it all down* 😂

On the last video. You widened the slots on the shock bar pins. I just replaced perfectly good 3/8" grade 8 bolts on my rear OMEs to 5/16"! I didn't think it looked like there was enough material there to do that on my set???

Always use an impact on the rear uppers!!!!! I don't understand why you hit the lower shock nuts with it, but not the upper bolts (a ratchet will twist them off EVERY TIME)????? And with your fix....why not weld the new bolts in with a quick tack?

For having to explain about the wrench to tighten bolts, I want to know who your audience is?

All I can say is bar pin eliminators.

Old Man Emu shocks have the bushings formed around the bar pin. I couldn't use JKS BPEs on my project!

Would it be possible to do a Jeep WJ front and complete rear suspension? Or just the front?
