Peter Mark Richman Second Appearance on Voyage To The Bottom of the Sea as Double Agent John Hendrix. He was also Captain Michael Mike Gant US Navy on the episode the Monster's Web featuring The Test Sub model. The Sealab's 2 eyed monster third appearance from the episodes The Condemned with JD Cannon.and Deadly Creature Below with Nehemiah Persoff and Paul Comi.
The bathysphere was a cool prop!. Guest star was also in first season of ST: Next Generation (the greedy businessman) AND in a budget secret-agent movie (Agent for H.A.R.M.) sent up by the original (the only) MST3K crew.
I finally got to know the name of that actor I had seen in so many TV shows during my childhood 🙂🙂 Peter Mark Richman... Interestingly I was just thinking about him 2 minutes ago when I decided to watch that episode and there he was...Strange, very strange...
I never really worked out what all flashing lights were on the sub + why were there constant fires in the sub with sparks ⚡️, all that damage and life goes on + where does all that smoke go?.
The giant two headed monster seems to be playing with the flying sub and later with the Seaview itself. Looks like it just wanted something to play with!
Were do you think James Cameron got the idea of the Abyss from, yes he certainly did, Voyage of course ,he lov d the shows to, On this episode The crew battle a assortment not underwater creatures, and pretty scarey they are dam good effect's ,
Yes, I grew up on this show. It aired SUN nights. Much more enjoyable than doing procrastinated homework! It was THE Premier sci-fi show during its run. It has much bigger budget, more elaborate sets, and bigger guest stars than Star Trek. But, the characters in Trek are more "beloved". There is NO similar feeling for the Voyage cast. Nelson is a solid character because Basehart is a top notch actor. But he's just Not a Kirk. Crane is NO Spock. Chip Morton is colder than a foundered flounder. Sadly, the Voyage story lines are almost trite compared to the socially conscious Trek stories. Where is Peter Lorre (from the pilot movie) ... to spice things up with his unique persona? (As Kirk Douglas said in "20,000 Leagues": "Don't look at me with those soft boiled eggs. I caught the glint of gold in 'em when that chest busted".)
Half of those big states were on Star Trek. John Crawford, Melichi Throne, Michael Ansarz, Torin Thatcher, Alfred Ryder, Roger C. Carmel, William Smithers, and Skip Homier. Just to name a few. Sorry for any misspellings.
I LOVED THIS SERIES ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤!!!!
A favorite growing up ... seems a lifetime ago.
It always one of my favorites. I use to have the model of the flying sub
❤greatest tv series of all time❤❤
Why doesn't the head of the Seaview Crew keep the doors locked up, when strangers are aboard, so that they can't do anything to Sabotague the Ship?
good tv back in the days,
Yeah, and it was all way better than what we get and have now !!!!

Voyage has christon values
Yes trying to control everything it sees and destroying it if it doesn’t cooperate.... just like all MAN made religions. Utter nonsense
