Hey Brad it’s Kayden just wanna let you know I’m the kid who used to fish your backyard all the time used to give me tackle and poles during the flood to help me out me and my buddies used to swim your dock all the time I remember even asking you about flair and if you were Macy’s dad ha ha ha. I’ve seen a lot of high end houses. In that kitchen it looks like a power strip hard wired in. I don’t like the power strip idea. One is that the builder knows the total load limit, but a homeowner never will. If a homeowner plugs in too much power draw, it will heat up and cause a fire. That would be the fault of the builder. What needs to happen is there needs to be recessed regular outlets flush with the surface. They don’t need to be GFCI because they aren’t near where water could splash. I’ve seen one home in Daytona, FL, where the outlet covers are in the same pattern as the marble back splash, so they are hidden in the wall. Your outlet set up will generally work, but it’s not the best.

BRAD! Your home is beautiful. It's clear that you incorporated all of the best ideas and products from your other builds into your own home. It is absolutely exquisite! As far as moving/selling goes, don't you dare! Unless you are quitting the "boat life", don't like your location (!?) or/and are *needing* to downsize space wise, I don't see the point. This is especially true seeing all of the time and money you spent to build it, customize it and then finish it how you want it. Like I said, it is absolutely stunning and the details here and there are so amazing. I especially like things such as no outlets on the backsplash in the kitchen, there is plenty of room between the island and the stove top, the finishing of the fridge doors to match cabinetry, wooden planks on the stairs, the 1/2 baths having plenty of space, etc.
This was a great video again, Brad. Thank you (and your wife) for allowing us a tour of your beautiful home.

Beautiful home Brad !! I’m with Matt I watched yours first. LOL. I live in Telluride and short of spending 20 million on a lot and a home it’s a lot of cookie cutter homes so I settled on a jet and my type rating to fly it so the views are spectacular both ways. I love the man cave and collections. You have great insight and decorating concepts. Looking forward to more. Enjoy your week !

@@BradtheBuilder I live in town in a home build in the mid 70s. I purchased it in 99 when the market wasn’t so out of control. The Town of Mountain Village where the sho resort is located wasn’t really much then condos and an area with smaller homes is located. The higher end properties are peppered throughout the county and neighboring areas. Lots are premium as well as construction costs not to mention material costs lately. I can’t justify a 10 to 15,000 sq ft home being divorced and probably 10 years from retirement. Work keeps me away sometimes 3 days a week hence my mode of transportation. I work in the commercial and facilities HVAC design and thermal solution computer programs and maintenance. Just fancy words for glorified HVAC guy that work on big stuff. Lol. I learned many years ago in a Cessna 172 like a lot of us did. Good night.

Brad I know that the one football in the man cave was a Jerome Bettis before you even said it. You home is amazing. I can not wait to see the one that you will build out next to Flair's new home that you are building.

Ok, Brad I see a fellow collector. Nice Nolan Ryan, Bob Gibson and I think that was a Roger Clemens, it's funny I picked up a 1954 Scott Attwood outboard but, at the time I thought I could find parts to fix it. Never did, I just made it into a center piece.😂😂

As for "should you sell the lake property" ? That's complicated. First and foremost, your still married, I think, so it may not be as easy as it sounds. On the other hand you are building yourself a new home currently,(you do not appear too be downsizing) but I don't see any water in any of the videos, I seriously doubt that you intend to live landlocked 100% year round, so here it is.
I'm not sure what the R.E. market is like in Nebraska, but , I'll guess it's on eggshells, like the rest of the country ? (although waterfront is a completely different animal)
Considering you built that place 8-9 years ago, 6-8 months (maybe still today, if you have somebody on the hook already) (quite likely) ago you could've probably doubled/maybe even close to tripled you investment. Extremely tempting. "The Airboat Situation" (big block chevy ?,LS ? can't be a Rotax ) That says a lot. Either you already a little something in, I don't know, maybe Louisiana- ish/ Florida-ish ,hell or even Mexico-ish (seeing how ambitiousyou are with the Spanish lessons) or it's G-Dammed about tyme. BUT, I could swear, I heard a word that sounded like, GRANDCHILD OR GRANDCHILDREN ???? If they still live in Nebraska, I have news for you, SO WILL YOU. Another conundrum, You could probably pull it off, but that "acrophobia" would probably dampen most parts of a private pilots license.
Should you sell it ?? ABSOFKNLUTLY ,if you have somebody on the hook, that IS NOT a close friend. Build another one, and then some. I'd bet fairly heavily, that you already have at least one Wfront lot in inventory .
Mr. Brad ur house is absolutely gorgeous sir. Man cave is badass and the gun safe/room is to die for. The wood work is beautiful. 3” on either side has to be extremely tough on u. I wouldn’t want the job reversing it or guiding u in. Can’t wait to see ur next video. Ur friend from Texas. What’s ur last name sir?

Still would have had to pay the architect and the blood sucking township/ city , to change the drawings/ plans.

The foundations are already there the roofs there. I have two additional exterior walls… That’s why it would be cheaper to run the wall straight across the back.
