Kyrgios mentality is getting stronger and it's such a pleasure, glad he is realizing his potential and he is motivated. With all this good results and confidence it would be nice to see him go far in USO
Love him or hate him. You cannot deny he’s got game!
Bullyos is reaching a good level
He just doesnt know how special he is
Tennis is only for White Men!!!!
@Lubomir Radev Made you comment so it can’t be that boring! 🤣
Nick doesn’t save half of those match points a few years ago he has taken his game up a notch and he is also the current showman of tennis for sure . His game is so much fun to watch I hope he’s around a while .
@Lubomir Radev He wouldn't have wanted it badly enough to try to save them. Especially once he lost serve in the tiebreak. The change in his mentality is undeniable.
What are you talking about? Nick has always been clutch. He saved plenty MP's against Nadal in Acapulco in 2019.
@Lubomir Radev When he’s badly losing most of the time he gives up. Down a set down a match point in the second is losing and he pulled himself together. Not something I would have expected 2 years ago.
That’s BS statistically he’s always won 70 % of tiebreaks, he’s always been a mentality monster
@Lubomir Radev no one asked for your opinion
Watched this live at the event, didn’t come in the audio - but he was upset because just as he about to hit a forehand in one of rallies someone yelled Aussie Aussie Aussie. There were also yelling big foe (how Americans support tiafoe) in between services, or while Nick was serving
thank you for explaining this!!!!
Thanks
I was sitting right next to the tiafoe supporter. He interrupted kyrgios’ serve twice by yelling. Super annoying and he was about to get kicked out if he did it again
Thanks for explaining...So what was Tiafoe shouting at the umpire at the end of the tiebreak? As far as those disrupting matches, and purposely, they should be ejected in short order - one warned, twice out.
@@ps-bi2sr He was saying that the umpire should have stopped Kyrgios from breaking up the flow of play with his crying.
We've missed clutch Kyrgios, like back in the 2014-2015 days.
Solid from Kyrgios to save the match points shows how motivated he is these days. 24-7 record in 2022 btw
That’s not that good. 65% win rate is good, not great
Oh wow. Please learn how to be happy guys :*
@@WilliamHarrisReynolds 24/31 is a 77.4% winrate
@@tlk1432 I was wondering who was gonna catch that lol. I love Kyrigos, what a talent. Probably close to Federer level as far as it pertains to natural, God given talent. I’m excited to see how he does at the US Open. I know if I was on the tour, I’d fear most the following players (in order): Nadal, Djokovic, Kyrgios, Alcatraz, then Sinner.
@@WilliamHarrisReynolds on the ATP yes it is. Please watch tennis more I explore you
WHAT THE FUCK. WAS. THAT. TIEBREAK. battle of the bunt backhands haha, kinda the most important time to have a bunt backhand would be in a tiebreak
Stan in his prime would have finished that
@@rumcoke9123 true
Always believed Nick will be back playing his best tennis, glad his mentality and game is much stronger now than ever before. Looking sharp
He is very tired
@@xk3168 tired of that hahaha
@@xk3168 I think Nick is wired in such a way that he cannot last as long as most other players. He goes hard & fast, but short. 5 set matches will be a problem for him until he really learns to conserve his energy and not shout etc. Even then 5 setters may be too much for him. We'll see.
@Lubomir Radev still doesn’t disprove my point, he’s mentally better than before in his game, and you are not obligated to reply to every ‘mentality’ comment here bud
@Lubomir Radev Can you read my statement? I said it got ‘stronger’, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s on par with Novak, but he’s motivated, no he isn’t the same Nick when i first watched him in his wimbledon debut. He just won the Washington 500 title, now has to play the doubles final. A player will eventually lose, that’s the fun of tennis, but I am enjoying the present without looking into the future.
Do you think nicks bromance with Novak , has helped him in saving match points. Let’s go Kyrgios
Nik's backhand is very strange, like hes play golf
And strangely effective too...
@@livinglogically8180 yes
He really shouldn't have missed that forehand wide at his first set point, but still clutch as hell tiebreak from Kygs
It's not a shot he really goes for much. If he can get that forehand in consistently, he's easily in the top 10
Never saw Tiafoe boil over like that before. And his end of match hand shake was much less cordial than usual. I'm guessing he's a little pissed at himself.
They didn’t show at the end of the 2nd set Tiafoe angrily arguing with the umpire, he smashed his racquet and kicked stuff over as well.
He felt that the umpire should’ve have taken points off Kyrgios.
But Kyrgios had legitimate reasons for arguing with the umpire about the guy in the crowd deliberately yelling out when he was trying to serve.
Tiafoe was frustrated that he lost especially as he’s ranked 10 in the world but Nick’s ranking doesn’t reflect his true ability and talent.
@@bellabana He always have a "legitimate reason" to interrupt the game and throw off his opponent whenever it gets tight. Very unsportsmanlike behaviour, to break the flow like that.
From a set down to come back to win tiebreak, I am seeing a maturing Kyrgios, never too late.
Nick doing tweener in QF Tiebreak 🥶🔥
Im absolutely buzzing inside seeing Nick play right now. Just feels good to watch and enjoy✌️
what was the fuss about nick shouting at ref and then tiafoe shouting at ref ?
He wanted Kyrgios to get a code violation
Great match by both of these men. Tiafoe is capable of so much but is just missing some key clutch moments to his game. Kyrgios might be the strongest player in this tournament. Good spot to get ready for New York.
Players like Nick is what Tennis needs to be attractive to young people. What a player, what a showman and sometimes an enfant terrible. Love seeing him on the tour🙃
MAN, this nick, DON'T MAKE ANY SENSE, the best i see for sure is Roger, but this guy, he's probably the greatest talent I've ever see, he plays careless and make a lot of REALLY good players looks like a ordinary one. This guy IS INSANELY GOOD!!, have a good mind is almost mandatory in tennis, imagine if this guy had that ? OBS: sorry for my english.
His secret is that he is really playing, like children do, enjoyoing, having fun...
@@clementtriboulet3710 Yeah but his main weapon is that he's still insanely talented. Look at his technique, as sharp as Roger's.
@@invictuz4803 except backhand
@@invictuz4803 Even more to be honest because nobody can guess which shot he is going to do next, even him:-). Nobody can be just exactly like him, sometimes, even he has problems doing it!
Finally, we are seeing what Nick can do. It's a pleasure watching him grow in to a better tennis player
Why was Tiafoe so upset with the umpire at the end of the tiebreak?
Thanks for uploading the tiebreak 👏
Why was tiafoe so mad at the umpire? 🤔🤔
For any who is still a Kytgios hater...you better learn to love and enjoy his game now before he is gone and you miss him playing pro tennis. The same was experienced by many when John Mcenroe played...they hated him...he was way more talented than everyone else...then he was gone and it sucked. Realize what u are seeing.
This is the Nick Kyrgios we need and deserve.
Nick is due to meet Medvedev in the 2nd round in Toronto (provided he wins his opening match) - that should be fireworks.
Well done Nick, hope you're able to win this tournament!
Guess what buoyyyy
I think these last 2 matches have been hard losses for Tiafoe but they will definitely make him a stronger player.
Nick had 35 aces in this match and Tiafoe had a bunch too
2:04 my man is just out there having fun at match point lol, what a legend.
Coldest net greeting from Tiafoe I've ever seen, though nothing wrong with that. These two make a great matchup
For a reason, Kyrgios tried and succeeded to throw him off with his antics. Unsportsmanlike.
@@malikfo1941 what antics?
@@zeaphonflame1602 The usual antics, interrupting someone's flow of game by shouting at the umpire for nothing etc. Big Foe was right, he should be given a warning, like in football for example, a yellow card.
Why would usual antics throw someone off? It’s not like Nick is new anymore?
@@joelpearson2352 That's a good questions why, but let's say I believe Tiafoe that it did disturb him and that more should be done about it, like was done in his match against Sinner, for example. If the audiences have to be quiet and can be throw out at a players request, then the same rules should apply to the players themselves.
Congratulations Tennis Tv: finally 1 Million, great channel!
Felt like Tiafoe wanted the Thug and Showman titles from Kyrgios.
He might have always wanted to show Kyrgios that it is possible to put on a show without being a problem maker.
He came so so close.
Damn what was happening with the umpire?
They both had a go at him, wonder why that was. Noise from the crowd? The hand shake at the end also wasn't that friendly. Were they annoyed with each other?
@@Funkytrip73 Frances Tiafoe was mad at the crowd and mentioned this to the umpire but he also told the umpire to give nick a code violation because he was yelling at the umpire and no consequences were given
I was screaming like a bansheeeee!!!! Go Kyrgios!!!! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
I love to see Kyrgios playing. This guy Is a genius with a strong temper. When he comes on the field, he looks like a kid going back to school. And then..."eat my ace ! 139mph You like that, i got more incoming !" 😅 He's getting better. Single or Double. I love this guy.
I like him if he acts mature and keeps his temper in check then he will be a good player I can route for.
@@jeizero At the beginning when i know him i was thinking like you do. Then i really started to try to understand this guy. He has an awesome talent and his temper is part of it. Kyrgios, you like or you dislike. There's no space for another feeling between these two feelings.
@@BobBob-hl8he if you say so then it must be true dur the durrrrrr
How do you bottle 6 match points like that?
That was 5 match points !
Wow 🤩
Could be US open final matchup perhaps, after TIafoe beat Rafa today? Not sure how brackets line up if it is possible, would be great match if Tiafoe plays like he did today.
Эмоции, конечно, затяжной тай-брейк, но "истерика" Tiafoe в конце показывает его уязвимость и слабость
igen
lopnn cyxob
Tennis action at its best level.
Tweener at 4:3 and double fault at 10:10 love it. Nick still managed to win though, mood was win or loose don’t matter spectacular
Tiafoe gotta work on his returning. He allows so many aces its nuts. Ofc kyrgios gonna hit a lot but this is a pattern in foe's matches
Good to see Nick plays safe in these big moments. 👍
Kyrios is the man!!
Tiafoe choked that match away…
Молодец Кирьос.Импровизатор.
Tennis Tv at 1 million massive congrats!!! 🥳🎾
When Nick have to save his match point, just like he doen't care about losing the match
Yep. It's a neat trick, maybe only he can do it .. I think he really didn't care, he wasn't tough, just played the point as quickly as possible and let it go where it goes ..
@@blucat4 no one know 🤣, but he got a big serve and he got a brilliant point
Frankie can't relax. Great Match by both !
Damn, that was sensational xD
I would love to know what both players were yelling at the umpire during and after that tiebreak.
And then Tiafoe decided he would never lose a tiebreak ever again
ah, was secretly hoping they would upload this
Th fk was Tiafoe whining about at the end of second set ?
Thanks for uploading this!!
Kyrgios mentality bro🥶🥶🥶
Quite Fragile
Definitely some ugly tennis from Nick in that tiebreak but he manged to stay calm and keep Tiafoe from winning it. Hope to see more of this from him.
こんだけマッチポイント取れなかったら心折れるわな。
6 match points saved and a come from behind win? Amazing! But Nick's record is 9 match points saved and came from 2 sets down to win in 2014 Wimbledon. I wonder if 9 is the record in ATP.
The tie break is closer to baseball than tennis…
Weird not seeing Kyrgios not throwing deciding games
This is the mentally tough Kygrios we like to see.
Insane Dominance on their own Serve.
Si strong kyrgios 😱 ❤️
I thing krygious wins citi open..???
I'd put money on it.
Amazing serving by both players
That Ace 🤯 1:21
Amazing!!! 🤩
Does anybody know what tiafoe was complaining about with the umpire at the end of the tie break?
Given that he was pointing at the other side of the court, and I think I also caught the word "out", he might've been complaining that Kyrgios' return was out when he had match point on his own serve at 11-10
He was complaining about Kyrgios not getting a warning for going off at the umpire about the crowd yelling in the middle of rallies
1:20 - GOOSEBUMPS
Why is it that when the women play the court looks huge and when these guys and the men in general does the court look tiny?? LMFAO 😂 a
The audacity to hit an ace while the crowd is cheering match point down
that saved him. I was in the crowd cheering for Tiafoe but regretted it instantly
Kygrios einfach unglaublich
Congrats on 1M sub. U deserve it
Damn...For had 6 match points...still couldn't close...smh..Tough match.
Epic battle.
what is tifaoe and nick bragging about with the referee? I don't understand
His service is unbelievable. But his returns and backhand are still far away from elite players. If the draw is good maybe quarters at US, he wont have same lucky draws as in Wimbledon everytime with walkover and stuff
Nick Chaos cursed the umpire for an hour without getting defaulted. What a fucked up world we live in.
What was Tiafoe complaining about at the end of the tiebreak?
Yes, I wonder too
cheerios for kyrgios 😄- someone make this your sign if you watch him live, would love to see his reaction xD
This year us season is perfect
Alot big players but Nadal Djokovic Federer not there
lmao THEY HAVE THE X AS A SHADOW I THOUGHT THAT WAS ONLY IN GAMES
the first time i watched Kyrgios not stop and complain / argue with the umpire and start taking a temper tantrum 👍
Yo kiero siempre k kyryos pierda hasta los aviones
Cool
Is it just me or is Tiafoe not as nice as he used to be?
nick is the proof that clown can play sports 😆
And you're the proof a brainless person can comment
These two are by far the two of the most entertaining players in the world!
Nick is playing without coach or did he hired someone?
Such a naturally talented guy.
And it's been said that he doesn't even practise/train that much either.
I've never seen Frances crumble like that.
If Nick gets in your head forget it your toast and he did and that tells me that the man across the net doesn't have what it takes.
I would've loved to see the full match- these are two of my favourites. I wonder if there is a streaming service that's worth the membership for all the matching on the ATP tour?
Tennis tv
Plot twist this was staged!
Why nick still not seeded..
Does he lowkey have the best serve in all of tennis? Like wow he gets carried so hard by his serve
congrats on 1 mil you guys deserve it
Compare this to Shanghai 2017
Let’s go Big Foe
