I disagree. That would just add more clutter, more weight and more cost. With two 12.0 batteries you can run this thing for an hour straight and there’s no cords. That’s a long time! I love mine.
@@TboneSRT I own the rocket light, and it doesn’t come with a cord, just the plug. So I’d need to carry an extension cord and have it running across a yard or a room. It’s easier to keep an extra battery with you in your rocket light bag than it is to carry a 100ft extension cord. I’ve used mine many times and every single time I’ve used batteries. I’m about to order a few of the forge 12.0 batteries and I already own a boatload of 12.0, 6.0 and 8.0 batteries, and with good batteries I personally think most people would never use the plug. I think Milwaukee conducted many surveys and focus groups and decided the same thing as me. A small percentage would plug in, but most would use batteries. In my opinion if you’re always vacuuming up huge jobs, you’re better served by a larger, more powerful corded version of a shop vac. Have a good evening.

It doesn't weigh any more or less with the hybrid system. No reason they can't make this the same way 🤷🏻♂️ hybrid would be the way to go.
I would be curious to see how much better this vacuum preforms withe the 6a forge battery. Once the 12a forge is released it would be nice to see the preformance increase.
Great question! I haven't tested the 2.5 Packout vacs yet, but I've heard great things about them. I've tested the M18 backpack vacuum, which I use all the time and give a thumbs up to. Milwaukee is introducing a new Packout vacuum dust extractor this year which is great if you're running it along with tools, like for woodworking or other dust. Whats the runtime in both modes with HO 6.0? Not sure why some people are saying a 12.0 is a must with the single battery, unless your vacuuming all day one 6.0 should be fine for the car, garage, etc..having another 6.0 on standby isnt bad either.
If I have a fully charged 6Ah HO, it lasts long enough for a single project. I found some stats on the 8Ah, saying they get ~30min on high and 50 on low.
Would this 6 gallon wet/dry vac be big enough for your shop? Or would you look at the 9 or 12 gallon instead?

I've never ran the wet filter in any shop vac I've owned
That's a good thing. I've had some minor flooded areas where it really comes in handy for fast water cleanup.
