When me and my partner weren’t doing well, I’d often drop into McDonalds and find loose receipts on the tables and stuff. If you did a short online survey you could get £1.99 Big Mac and Fries with each receipt , and I’d gather any £4 I could find and get her two Big Macs and medium fries. It was to keep her positive and keep her mind off how much we were struggling. Luckily now we have a nice flat and I have a nice job, but these videos do really help as well as the entertainment factor.

massive props for acc going through with this. Also the reason the coke zero felt like it filled a hole is because caffeine is a hunger suppressant, its the reason why so many people that drink black coffee or zero sugar energy drinks are so skinny.
My favourite bit was when you said ‘I almost called these meatballs’ about the Maltesers and then ended up calling the meatballs Maltesers… 🤣
You were so stoked about that free burger, it's so stupid that you have to buy a whole meal just to get a small cheeseburger. You definitely did pretty well getting some free foods Ed 🙌🙂

Any zero sugar drink isn't going to help your calories intake. What you could do is go to a cafe or supermarket cafe or even Greg's. Get some free sugar and pour it into the drink. Still free but more calories and better taste.

You have so many more options you didn’t use! You could have got a free meal at Morrisons Cafe and places like that as well as apps where they give free food when a place is binning it. Or ones where other people give it away.

Was fun to watch this and know some freebies. Some tips if you do it again;
1) do your research, there are plenty of rewards programs about.
2)you could have easily survived 2 days through Virgin red. All you need to do is invite a friend and you would have enough points for 6 free pasties(Greggs) or other items from there.
3) If it suits you, you could do a build up, take a month to build up points in these schemes and see how long you can go with the proceeds. I mean how many friends can you invite?😂

If you go to pret, costa, nero or other coffee shops before closing and ask if they are throwing anything away sometimes they give you the food. Its worked for me before

Fun video, but at the same time it's pretty normal to fast for 2-3 days without eating anything at all. Honestly you get hungry at like 12-24 hours, but if you time your sleep right you can go to bed a little hungry and past the 24 hour mark you generally stop being as hungry, just a bit tired and lightheaded.

In Lithuania you will be starved on first day. As there are no such things as free stuff anymore. You can find 1+1 but not sign there get that. And etc.

In America you could survive a lot longer on free food. On your birthday lots of restaurants give you free food. Jersey Mikes gives you a large sub free. Krispy Kreme gives you a dozen donuts free. Dennys a free breakfast meal.
It's not actually his birthday though, and some of those places require ID proof

The best deal I got was a 1L jagger meister for opening up a bank account and closing it soon after hahah recently there was that one horrible soda drink no one wanted to buy so stores were giving it for free if you had their app and apparently it did not help get rid of it because I still see some left over on the shelves.
When I did my gastric sleeve, I had to drink clear liquids for 3 weeks. No food. So you can go a lot without food, trust me. It's uncomfortable, but you won't die :)

What about looking at free food samples some supermarkets offer or food left at markets on the floor.
Foraging can be a good source of free food when you know what you are doing.
You could try a £1 a day challenge or couple of quid a day challenge on food. Lots of cheap pasta, veg, etc
