Spoons rooms are fantastic and cheap.. stayed at the spoons i harwich.. room was absolutely massive, really clean and bed was super comfortable.. food both evening and breakfast was absolutely spot on. And the bar itself was lovely.. some people knock spoons for one reason or another, but for what you pay, you can't go wrong..
I stayed in Wetherspoons Hotel in Birmingham and I loved it! Easy way to eat, easy access to Christmas market, and no noise got to my room (and it was cheap)

See, I live in Doncaster, and the first time I visited it I said the exact same as you Ed and this was few years ago. But honestly it ain’t as great as you think or may have been told. It’s good that it seems decent on the outside, and it’s nice to see you enjoy the architecture. They are great, just very run down now.

Unreal. I love Wetherspoons. Went in there the other night and they had pints of ale for like £2.50. One of them was less than £2. I mean I rarely drink more than 3 or 4 pints so I could literally have my entire evening's worth of pints for like a tenner. Brilliant video!!
