Saka needs more than a rest. He needs to be properly BENCHED like Arteta did Martinelli after one piss poor game. Saka's been underperforming for several weeks (and yes, fatigue is some of the reason), but Arteta not showing that he's disposable by not benching him is psychologically damaging since Saka can think "Oh well, I didn't perform at the level that I should've but that doesn't really matter".

It is the hope that kills. Let us forgive one another for the unpleasantness from the fanbase towards the end of the season. It indeed was a great season but the lads just couldn't see it through. We salute them and the manager and everyone else involved.

It was a whimper. Just like final run-in last season - obviously, we have done MUCH better this time around, but not liking this 'son of a beach' mentality. On a side note, so good to see TY still here - the AFTV old guard - where most have either fallen out with Robbie or are sadly departed, great to still see him being entertaining and lightly controversial, while thanking the NHS and local milk delivering services.

Ty has got to grow up man. City won it deservedly. They’ll end up about 10 points ahead. Both teams had decisions against and for them. At Anfield a couple of weeks back, Arsenal was VERY lucky not to concede another penalty at the end. And when Liverpool came to emirates there where 3 big decision (1-0 offside, Gabriel handball and Jesus penalty) that went Arsenals way. You see? I’m an LFC fan and I can find these situations in the two games I’ve seen in detail vs Arsenal. Surely you’ve got to understand then that that is a part of the game, and that ultimately it didn’t stop the best team from winning. Arsenal, you were great this season, but City was simply too strong in the end. And again: as an LFC fan I know that all too well.

I love how Ty seems to think that 1 decision going your way in a game you lost or drew automatically means that you would have won it instead? How many teams have failed to break down or even lost to a team of 10 men.
City still have a game in hand and could be 10 points clear going into the last game, if you are 1-3 points behind you can argue that it was down to moments in games that could have gone your way but if you are a handful of results worse than the team above you they clearly deserve it more than you. They are likely to finish on 90+ points as well if you are at that amount you deserve to win the league quite frankly.
