I was just about to comment about the brand they sell by in the world. I currently live in Peru and that bike here goes by Regal raptor. In Spain they go by Leonart. Down in Peru, they have a pretty good marketing scheme. But most mechanics have negative things to say. Maybe it's cause the models they sell out here are 400+ cc so maybe the change in pistons and gear box might not be all that good. Most mechanics here say they leak oil coming out the store.. i never had one myself but they do look nice.
It is a good looking bike. I'll give it that. Fuel injection, dual front disc, rear disc, inverted forks...it ticks a lot of boxes and on a budget. I have one of these in Australia called a 2014 Laro Prostreet and it’s a 350cc efi version. I actually love riding it and it is deadset the most comfortable and nimble cruiser I’ve riden… I have hollowed the cats on it and hollowed out the mufflers so straight piped it and it sounds really good. It gets a lot of complements and thumbs up etc etc no it’s not a Harley but it’s a great beginner / intermediate bike to get into cruising and modifying until you upgrade into a nice Harley which is the plan. I wouldn’t mind modifying this bike to run a Harley Evo or another V twin which is what lead me to this post in the first time.
Hey can anyone help? We bought one a while back and it wasn't until we got it home that we found out it needs some repairs. We havent found any shop that is willing to repair it because they say " its not a popular brand so we dont know if we'll find parts for it". Living in miami, does anyone have any recommendations?
I think that bike was a regal raptor Daytona....the Johnny Pag Malibu is slightly different here in Argentina they sell them both. the one You are ridding it's call Jawa Daytona and the Malibu it's called Zanella 350
Have a 100cc pagsta it also has a Johnny pag stamp. I seen a video of a dirt bike in China that has this motor but a higher reving version sounds like a sport bike engine.
How to get a title for a 300? I am looking at one for sale no title just bill of sale [ which is required by law] Then I wonder about the actual title. Anyone know about this maker?
I own a 2016 Pagsta Cruisa (that's the model name). It's a 320 cc engine and runs very well and very comfortable.Great looking bike. It was my first bike but I use my 2018 390 duke now.
These guys go by the name Hunter in Australia, the same Johnny Pag parts but under a different brand, kinda think like Chervy and Holden, but bought a second hand bike for $2500, fixed it up for about 600 and it only has 9000km on the clock. Entry level chopper for chopper fans like myself.
Smaller bikes are totally adequate if you aren't trying to be the fastest thing around.. my rebel 250 is pretty comparable to an average, basic 4cyl car. Been my daily driver for almost two years. Can actually be kinda peppy if hit the upper rev range.
I don`t know about the 300, but here in Spain they are 350`s, and my previous bike was a Kawa Vulcan 750, and I swear, my Leonart Daytona 350, at least with the straight pipes and chipped ECU can go 0 - 60 just as fast as the Kawa, and it has no problem doing a 100mph on the highway here in Spain. I ride with my MC here in Spain and it has no problem keeping up with them going on Harley`s. In fact effectswise, the Harley is a chromed out tractor.
Minute 8:33. If u were going to build a motorcycle as cheap as u can, it won’t look like this, and if it does, it will cost u 20k. That is exactly why I bought mine 1,6k and customized it. in Spain it is called Leonart !
I had a 220 avenger when i lived in the Philippines. Its a good bike for bigger guys in a country where 90s 110s, 125s, and 150s are the norm. Lol the honda xrm125 screamed and cried everytime i sat on it. And i got that 220 up to 125kph once on a straight away.
I picked one of these, after seeing one local for not too much, and looking at TH-cams of swaps to slightly larger motors. Like into the 700cc range. But all the vids are so old, I can't get a response from most of the builders to get some details. I did get an answer from someone who put a Harley 883 in, but with so much frame altering it really wasn't the same frame any more. For now I have a chain drive 750 shadow motor I got cheap ( not running, but so I can eyeball things) because I once found someone who wrote he had put one in, but I can't find him again. And also have seen a few xs650 motors that I know should fit, but again, the posts on them are old and the posters don't respond. Also saw one with a 650 Savage motor, but I want just a little more, plus more than a single cylinder. So it's been more like a full size model car that I play with the style of (made a sissy bar, working on a king/queen seat, etc) until I can work out the motor idea.
None of the Harley's are built in China, the foreign ones they're built in Thailand, and India. Harley is looking to expand into China though with 3 stores and a plant for their smaller 300cc new motorcycles openning up soon.
Someone needs to take one of these and mod it to handle a Turbo. Should pull like an 600-800 cc NA bike I bet. At least it will be hilarious. Saab 120cid 4's put out 210hp stock in 2003. It's all about engine design and management. Bikes could do it too.
I had a 50cc pagsta chopper that i put a 50 cc semi auto baja dirt bike motor on. I rode it forever and when it broke i of course neglected it for years and eventually sold it to the scrapyard.. Well long story short i saw it a couple months back so i stopped and the guy said he was fixing it for his son! I was just happy it was running again and in rehab. I told him it would do burnouts and wheelies! 😄

I wouldn’t mind modifying this bike to run a Harley Evo or another V twin which is what lead me to this post in the first time.
i have a 2003 50cc pagsta that i got for $600. its impossible to find parts for it but its lasted and its been fun
This or a 250 V Star, for the money?
Thanks Harrison... on 12/23/19 I watched this and that was just the verse I needed today!
How can I get ahold of one I saw this video. An I new this was the bike I wanted.
I like the choppers he made they were beautiful! That is a good looking and riding bike! Thanks for sharing!
I just seen one in FB marketplace for 2 grand I’m in the process of getting my motorcycle licence and am considering it. Even just to rip around
I loved the fall over backwards
Could you swap a different engine in this chassis? Any suggestions ideas?
70s cb550 4 cylinder. Works well modify mounting and exhaust and its good. It's called an ajas daytona in the UK
"don't need a 1500cc motor" I'm... I'm gonna dip out. 😂
Plagues of Wrath
While 300 is a bit small, 750-900 is PLENTY of power. If taking two: 1200 is plenty.
what shop could i take this to if i needed repairs and maintenance ?
Hey can anyone help? We bought one a while back and it wasn't until we got it home that we found out it needs some repairs. We havent found any shop that is willing to repair it because they say " its not a popular brand so we dont know if we'll find parts for it". Living in miami, does anyone have any recommendations?
I think that bike was a regal raptor Daytona....the Johnny Pag Malibu is slightly different here in Argentina they sell them both. the one You are ridding it's call Jawa Daytona and the Malibu it's called Zanella 350
I was pretty impressed with the forward controls, wheel design, oil cooler and fuel injection for the price. Did you figure out what Pagsta is?
Have a 100cc pagsta it also has a Johnny pag stamp. I seen a video of a dirt bike in China that has this motor but a higher reving version sounds like a sport bike engine.
How to get a title for a 300? I am looking at one for sale no title just bill of sale [ which is required by law] Then I wonder about the actual title. Anyone know about this maker?
I own a 2016 Pagsta Cruisa (that's the model name). It's a 320 cc engine and runs very well and very comfortable.Great looking bike. It was my first bike but I use my 2018 390 duke now.
How much better would this be with a zx2 motor... interesting....
“Back person” is Sean speak for passenger? Just busting chops guys. Thanks for the review
I like the looks of the Janus bikes but won’t my right knee cover up the J?
Today Sean sounds like a pure salesman. Which he is pretty good at.
I like the paint ... 300cc insurance.. swap in an S&S and a baker 6spd...lol
Tyler Penny People have fit X650, CB550 and Z750 engines in the same frame.
They had chopper versions as well that were very cool
Minute 8:33. If u were going to build a motorcycle as cheap as u can, it won’t look like this, and if it does, it will cost u 20k. That is exactly why I bought mine 1,6k and customized it. in Spain it is called Leonart !
I had one of these in Australia but they are called laro pro Street
Had this Harley pass me going home from work.
Looked pretty good but sounded like a moped.
It was one of these.
Saw one on facebook for 1350, seriously thinking about buying it, just for a cruiser when i dont feel like taking my truck out
50 years later my back and neck stopped hurting....But I still have that Jonny Peg!
So this bike is perfect for somebody who has never driven a motorcycle before to start off with?
Plot twist: its actually made by HD.
hahahaha!!! with an MSRP of under $5k? yeah, right.
Johnny Pag? That has to be one of the worst brand names ever.
Justin Waller Owner of these motorcycles lovingly refer to themselves as "Paggots."
I think this exact same bike is sold as the Regal Raptor Daytona in some countries in Asia.
None of the Harley's are built in China, the foreign ones they're built in Thailand, and India.
Harley is looking to expand into China though with 3 stores and a plant for their smaller 300cc new motorcycles openning up soon.
Huge new plant built in Thailand apparently aimed at European buyers to avoid taxes.
I wanna see that bike climbing the Rocky mountain roads. Great video
In Chile Is called "Regal Raptor Daytona"
I would like to have that motor for my Golf Car. I would replace the Suzuki 550 motor that's in it now.
in spain this same bike is called a leonart daytona and they make a lot of more bikes
Thank You.... for Not knocking the little bike. I respect that from you. A fun little bike I think ...for the $$$.
Someone needs to take one of these and mod it to handle a Turbo. Should pull like an 600-800 cc NA bike I bet. At least it will be hilarious.
Saab 120cid 4's put out 210hp stock in 2003. It's all about engine design and management. Bikes could do it too.
8:04 that was a lot of noise and not a lot of go lol
I had a 50cc pagsta chopper that i put a 50 cc semi auto baja dirt bike motor on. I rode it forever and when it broke i of course neglected it for years and eventually sold it to the scrapyard.. Well long story short i saw it a couple months back so i stopped and the guy said he was fixing it for his son! I was just happy it was running again and in rehab. I told him it would do burnouts and wheelies! 😄
