I agree with that PreSonus Eris decision. Every reviews I've watched, Eris always wins. And also for the price, it is so good! But, I can't afford to buy. That's why I joined this giveaway. I hope I'll win that pair!!!
I definitely need some new monitors. I'm currently using the Alesis elevates. The definition in the low end is terrible and the stereo image is pretty poor.
Been looking for some new ones and was undecided between the Mackie and the Presonus. Would love to win a set as on a tight budget since the lockdown times. Both superb sounding. Been into my local store to have a listen to both. This video is superb. Thanks for you rundowns of these speakers
Congratulations Terry Ashley you are the winner of the Eris 4.5s! Please drop us a message on our Facebook or Instagram page, and then reply here for confirmation once you have done so. Then we will get your details so we can get them posted to you 😄
The fact that I was looking for reviews for the Presonus Erie 4.5 and I found an opportunity to win one pair to substitute my laptop speakers is just fantastic!
Right now I just mix on an all in one stereo and some headphones. Sometimes my stereo I use for music enjoyment. Basic list of everything I use Sony MHC-501 (with EQ) ATH-M50x SR850 The speakers on my stereo are the monitor audio silver 50 6g, due to the way I produce I can't use my stereo for music prod. But then again, it wouldn't give the dead truth. Sounds great, but not for mixing.
I’m here looking at replacements for my dm40’s, probably the room but the bass sounds terrible at a user friendly volume. With no way of tweaking them it makes them pretty useless… currently got socks jammed in the front ports to help with the awful bass clapping 🙈 When cranked they’re a bit better but just not feasible for every day use
Your decision is same with my opinion from my experience... Firstly i am using alesis elevate5, then presonus eris 5, after that mackie Cr4bt with presonus eris 4.5... So production and mixing eris 4. 5 is accurate for me... Then listen and practicing cr4bt is more comfortable than eris 4.5...... Anyway my eris 4.5 have a problems and produce a sounds like something scratch and pops sometimes....
Cheers, very helpful, especially to hear your thoughts on DJ v Production comparison. I use JBL Control One's on HiFi, Corsair somethings on computer and some ginormous Quested S8 monitors in music room. Always looking for more monitors ;-)
Nice video. I have a question, I am planning to buy a pair of Genelec 8030 C for my studio. So can you share your opinions and guide me regarding that?
I thought the company name was "Pioneer DJ"? It's the former pro-audio unit of the previous single united Pioneer company that they had to sell off when they went bankrupt.
The Elevate 5s go lower thanks to their 5" cones. You get more punch with the DM-40s but they don't go as low, if you want a deeper bass then the Elevates are the way to go.

Two years later, this is still valuable information. Well done, lads.

Great showdown, been looking at the presonus 3.5, but now I'm going for the 4.5, thank you.
I know its about a year ago, But i have 3.5 presonus and getting the 4.5 because they are amazing i think!
I went for the e5 in the end
Best video so far, hands down
Just ordered the PreSonus Eris from Amazon. Looking forward to hooking these up to my RX tomorrow 👌
I’m probably going with the presonus! Thanks!
Very clear review. I had a dilemma, between some of those monitors. Great job guys 👏
Hats of for always making informative yet funny stuff and for also being able to hold give aways! Fingers crossed 🤞🏼🤩

🙏
My mom dont have enough money and my dad loves music and i would appreciate a pair of these 🥺
Crackin video. Which ones have a wood enclosure? I find speakers with plastic enclosures do poor with bass and can be rattly.
Thanks! All the monitors here feature wooden cabinets 🙂
Yeahhh I will enter !!

I thought the company name was "Pioneer DJ"? It's the former pro-audio unit of the previous single united Pioneer company that they had to sell off when they went bankrupt.
I could do with some monitors. Currently im using some cheap pc speakers. 🤞🤞
Good video
Between the Pioneer DM 40 and the Alesis Elevate 5 MK II, which one would be better for DJing (practice), and has a better bass?
The Elevate 5s go lower thanks to their 5" cones. You get more punch with the DM-40s but they don't go as low, if you want a deeper bass then the Elevates are the way to go.
@@GetintheMix ok thanks
Thanks 👍
