39:20 honestly in 99% of cases your using high stance, especially if your using tengen kujaku, but also because you dont wanna bounce off the enemies guard. if were talking in dark souls terms then low stance turns your weapon into a dagger, mid stance turns it into a straight sword and high stance into an ultra greatsword basically.

The level design in this DLC is the best I’ve seen in any souls-like. Doesn’t quite compare to Yarnham in Bloodborne, but the second story mission is f*cking great. Minus the blob fish.
The Tsurugi item you got during the LOST SWORD mission was the sword itself. The guys at the end were after that sword and you prevent them from getting it. It pays to pay attention during story so you're not looking around for 20 minutes for an item you never had lol. The guy at the end even says no matter that sword will be ours
I remember when I did the first DLC mission, I saw the boss rise from the water and just thought, "why did they think anyone liked umibozu in Nioh 1, why bring him back?"
The Splitstaff is so fucking delicious its amazing, it hits hard as hell, and the first mid boss is just amazing and those who know the history of Japan as far as the wars go. Will be a delight to see

Hey cowboy i know its a bit late but just curious how do you have the ki recovery buff after every interaction and the running speed buff/defense buff after every kill and how do you recover ki so quickly?
@@jankogo mine is at 180 +17! Beforehand, I was able to kill stuff with ease, but then again, most people with endgame builds were. Guess why they call it Dream of the Strong.
@@lukoscreyden I went through it 170+2 and it was a bit too easy (except for the last boss who destroyed me like ten times before I managed to kill him). The DLC in Nioh 1 almost required you to grind beforehand, but this DLC seems more managegable without.
@@jankogo This is exactly why I stop leveling at 100, and don't power level my gear much. Personally just enjoy the game more when I'm not stomping shit with ridiculously powerful gear. But that's why I love this game. You can play it the way I do, or you can level and gear grind and stomp it with the time and effort you put into a build. Different appeals for different peoples.

I think Nioh 2 has improved the base game in some ways, but the "parry mechanic" which I didn´t use at all seems to just break everything and I liked William more as a protagonist (he reminded me of a samurai verion of Solid Snake) . The soul core system in Nioh 2 is awesome and really fun to mess around with.

2:52:55 the point of this clearly was that you are able to get the nue soul core, so im not mad about it. i think the reason they picked nue in particular was because he was a sort of fan favorite as one of the most hated bosses of the nioh1 community, cowboy is part of the reason why they brought him back i believe xD
I'm just watching this to where I am in my play though so I don't spoil the rest but damn so far I'm enjoying it. The staff is cool and 2 of the 3 bosses I've fought so far have been pretty fun.
Of course this awesome dlc would come out during ghost of tsushima and the new red dead online naturalists expansion. Not enough time to play them all.
Dude it's hard to go away from ghost for real. I cant put the game down at all. I did a couple missions in this dlc but I had to go back cause the story is just too good
SS is trash...dragon dance or w/ is the only one doing some type of damage...everything else is so garbage lol.....it’s too weak n u can’t DD everything cuz u still stand still, it isn’t good.
I always laugh when people make up these complex builds and I just rock in with my armor that isn't even a set, just a bunch of random armor pieces with abilities I like on them and just wreck the whole DLC in a few hours.
Ghost of Tsushima is a cinematic historical stealth game, Nioh 2 is a fantasy hack and slash where the emphasis is on building your character. They’re two very different genres but both have excellent gameplay imo.
Have not had to much time to watch of late. Great to see your healthy and going strong. Always a treat to watch, you make me laugh always.

In loyal retainer you can kill the Kappa OR the guy who's been fighting with you and get differnet mission ends.

Speed is from Kasha soul core, the Ki is actually Barrier talisman.

I'm not sure then it could have been any number of things. Ki recovery on out of stamina enemy maybe the tengen ki buff etc
