using my suburban this work great, I build a drawer system and sleeping platform after watching Wes's early video with his Cherokee. I do remove my rear most seat but the middle seat folds flat and still has storage under it. the whole platform accordions up and I can install the 3rd row if need be. I love having what is essentially a full-size bed in the back, but it does keep me from having a fridge in the back, but as we discussed earlier, I use a cooler so that is easier.
