I love them ALL! the ones that caught my eye was that MG12 and the Eurotackle rods are sick! what I would love to see and they have this concept in the Paintball World with their barrels. different inserts for different size paint balls. they should or figure out how to have 5 tips for the same handle. I have the Kast King Perigee II M/ML one rod two tips is just crazy and that is what i use for my Zephr BFS with the ML tip 1/14oz spinners just get sent! 1/32 Pig Jig not so much.
Abu needs to do a re-release of the Morrum ZX 3600 and do so for the US market! We really really really need one! With a shallow wiffle spool and a deeper spool in the box. This is something that really needs to happen, it would sell like crazy and would be a reel that the USDM market has sorely been absent of unless we are paying 1000+ for one on the second hand market from overseas. Come on Abu give us a ZX 3600 and 3601 for the US market! Include a ultra light BFS style spool and a deep spool in the box and price it around 600 bucks and the Enthusiasts in the US market will buy them like crazy.
I'm intrigued by lews new breaking system. Thinking about pre ordering the custom. Paul mentioned it was bigger than the pro. In size comparison would it be more like a slp or lfs?
It's so annoying when they name casting and spinning reels the same. Why is X the new default top of the line stuff? A decent travel rod with cork handles by TFO? I have two of their fly rods
The US is so behind. Vanford for Shimano? Try Vanquish 2023 which is the Flagship design in MGL. Magnesium body to suppress reel deflection, distortion and twisting, drag offers Infinity Loop that feels mega smooth to the point you might have to look at your line to know it's going cause you can't feel it, Rigid Support Drag to support spool fluctuations with two bearings. Vanquish is the top tier reel if you want light game finesse (3-25lbs.) top tier. Vanquish 2023 is definitively Shimano's best Bass reel at the moment. I have it and it is the lightest and smoothest reel I've ever felt in my life. Well, to be honest, when I cast, paired with a Zenaq SNIPE S72XX with their proprietary RG Guide System, I don't feel like anything is being cast. It's just that smooth.
Sorry, bushido blanks are low to mid tier, just lile microwave guides. $300 for a low to mid quality rod is crazy. If that rod was 150 theyd still be making around 300 percent on it.
Bushido blank..$80, microwave guides plus tip $35-40, reel seat $10, grips 10-20 bucks. So 140 round about not including labor, shipping, or markup. I’m not defending them just saying, not 300% at 150 that’s for sure.
@@paulglass7268you're correct. You don't know. Do you build rods? Have you ever worked in a rod shop, owned a rod company, or have any actual work in the industry besides being in videos?
@rhodesianhunter9360 The guides are actually the nanolight rings with a nanoplasma coating so are the absolute highest grade available and custom made for our company by American tackle.
18:20 I've seen a fly rod come apart mid cast....cheaper rods. And ive had dozens of two peice rods come apart during a cast and a few come apart while reeling in a fish. They should incorporate a simple locking or gripping system

American made doesn't need to have a higher price point especially when it comes to rods. Rod companies are making 500-600 percent on rods. Using USA blanks do not cost much more at all.
@@paulglass7268labor cost per rod is small. It is not the main item driving costs of rods. Per rod buying from an oversees manufacturer vs buying from a US manufacturer for complete rods is small. As an example, a rod that retaills for $200 made oversees cost around $20 for the company to have made. Same rod costs $25 if made in the US. The rod company then sells them wholesale for $125 a rod. The retailer then sells them for $200. Im not guessing at these numbers. I know this business. $5 per rod over 2000 rods is a lot of money, but the profit margin is still excellent. Its pure greed. Companies use the great margins on rpds to cover other items they sell with small margins.
I like the pfluger and eurotackle stuff. Might try some. High quality and decent prices. Never spending that big crazy money of that high dollar shit. Over priced. Every "expensive" rod or reel I've gotten has sucked.
What was your favorite rod and reel from Icast?
FishNFX of course!
Definitely FishNFX
The TFO rods and the Shimano Vanford reel both looked awesome. Not necessarily to use together.
@@michaelrohde1112 I would totally pair that Vanford on a FishNFX
TFO travel rods would be great addition to my arsenal.
SLX 70 and Eurotackle BFS rod each look sweet. The last model SLX mgl 70 casts baits a mile.
Love the coverage of the travel rod. I travel for work sometimes and need them. Thanks.
They’re cool right!?
I am intrigued with everything kast king brought to the table. I have a couple Spartacus 2 reels. Really like them.

THE DAIWA CERTATE SW REEL Y FISHNFX ROD.
Great information thank you
TFO uses Rod Forge blanks for their American made rods. Rod Forge is owned by TFO. Rod Forge makes phenomenal blanks.

Great interview with FishNFX!
Good interview but that rod is way, way over priced. It's built on a lower quality blank.
