As soon as it started, I knew it was gonna be a banger. I’m not gonna lie nobody’s going that fucking fast with their hands, and having it study on the other hand with their Tig or whatever they’re using I just knew it was gonna be a banger.
The one channel that shows actual talented welders
The fact that he went back over that weld at the very end to build up that root, says a lot about his skill within the craft
I know very little about welding, but as he approached I was thinking... don't you have to get that part he already previously welded hot enough to penetrate as well?

@@oldkingcrow777 the penetration is already there, it's more to do with cleaning the weld clean as there was probably a bit of contamination there if fit was fresh

Yea I was looking at that fish eye wondering if he was gonna make it disappear and he damn sure did, I’m trying to get my tig welding on that level like my dad is but I just gotta keep practicing and learning from him, my mig and stick is damn good but I’m just alright with tigging right now I just gotta get better with that filler rod lol, but I’m getting better everyday

It’s nothing to be ashamed of at all but there’s nothing difficult about this though. I know there are a lot of shit welders out there or folks that wanna call themselves welders, but this isn’t difficult. Still looks great though and wish there were more out that had the patience and pride.

How does he do it?! Whenever I TIG weld I’m told to take it as slow as possible, and I fucking suuuuuuuuuck with TIG so it makes it worse that I have to take it slow. Then there’s this dude speed welding and it turns out perfectly fine! How?!

@@sirsmiteful6285you just gotta learn to walk the cup better, if you can’t do it good right now then practice without trying to use filler rod and then when you get that down and can walk the cup consistently then start slowly practicing with the filler rod, just gotta practice man if you try to rush and do it all at once it’s gonna look like shit you know?

This is why I sometimes describe TIG welding as painting with molten metal and high voltage electricity.

Wow. That kind of quality on a vertical weld really is impressive.
How do you know it's vertical? Cameras can be rotated and positioned at any angle.
You can see gravity pulling straight away from filler rod. And as weld finishes with raindrop shape.
Yea I’ve always been taught to weld downhill unless you gotta go uphill which sometimes you do and in my experience some things weld better for me when I go uphill with it but I like to be hardheaded too lol, but he had both of them looking nice and he cleaned up the fisheye, you can’t ask for no better than that

The tie did it for me. The entire time as soon as you got to the end I kept saying do not stop now, do not stop now, do not stop now and you did not disappoint. That was finished in the most bad ass and most professional way possible.
I do mostly stick welding at work and mig at home when working on small projects. I have yet to try tig and would love to one day.
You’re definitely someone I can learn from.

The gap you forced me to weld used up all the rod, that's who.
That’s a standard gap for a root tig is slow and costly on the rods but always a quality weld wen done by a good welder

How old is somebody that knows how to weld properly and cover up the root of the world he even went back to the previous will just come back down to finish it up perfectly man you need to get a raise or something get make your own company and show people how is done like that. Consider the fact that the top pass was welded from the outside since you can see the crater of the weld pool while the lower pass was from the inside and they’re identical inside and out. Same penetration. This is a TIG master.
Even my 8 yr old daughter, and my woman were mesmerized. Hats off. What a weld!!!!
