one thing I did notice all these yes welders all got this like shorting out when you add the filler wire in when your TIG welding also two on the pulse setting it's got that crack when it's pulses. I run a primeweld Tig 225x and when I weld with it adding the filler wire on DC it does not make any sounds like it's shorting out and when I pulse weld with it you don't hear it cracking on and off. I think it's just a build difference in the manufacturer of the welder. but what do I know I'm kind of a newbie to TIG welding I've been a MIG welder for the last 27 years and I told myself how to TIG weld and I TIG weld really good and I'm very happy with the prime weld Tig 225x and I even added the max cool 3000 Tig torch cooler with a CK worldwide flex lock. hopefully one day I'll be able to sit down with people and we could try all the different settings side by side with all these different brands.

Based on reviews like this one, I ordered this welder.
However, YesWelder fraudulently collected a "City" sales tax which I am not required to pay. I do not live in the city, I am in the county outside of the city limits. Back and forth through emails, they refuse to refund me the fraudulently collected city sales tax and kept insisting for a tax exemption certificate (which does not exist for living in the county). So, my last email was to cancel my order. YesWelder lost a sale based on their ignorance of who is required to pay what sales tax. YesWelder uses a computer software to automatically charge for these taxes based on an errorously database . I personally contacted the city and I was advised, city sales tax in not imposed for online orders if residing outside the city limits. We will see how it goes.

The big players have plasma cutters with built in compressors. if these work so well then my question is why no one sells these tiny compressors just for cheaper plasma's.
My yeswelder MP200 plasma says it needs 9-12CFM@ 78PSI . That is huge and no small pancake compressor will output that.

Great video. Was looking into pledging into their kickstarter but after some research I’ve decided to back out.
Just taking a good look at their write up on the kickstarter, I can already tell the lack of effort and proof reading they put into it. Lot of misleading statements and even pictures of the machine mig welding which it shouldn’t be able to do.
Secondly, if you’ve ever taken a look at their social media most of what you’d see is them reposting other welders content implying that the welding was done with one of their machines (it wasn’t). Which really makes me question if they really have any members on their team internally that can actually properly demo their units to post on their platforms.
Overall I really do like the concept. Just having a plasma cutter with an internal compressor alone is already pretty worthwhile at that price range. However, I am gonna have to wait it out. I’ve used their first gen machine and it barely did half the things it claimed to be able to do.

I bought one during the kickstart program. Used it less than 8 hours. When the stick function quit working. Warranty is up after a year. I have been emailing them for 3 weeks. After the initial reply. I'm getting emails saying they will actually reply as soon as possible. There is nothing I can do but wait for emails. I sold my old miller thunderbolt to buy the 2050. Wish I realized there is no dealer or shop or even person to talk to on the phone. I'm really wishing I hadn't bought the machine. If it breaks your out of luck. The tig machine isn't very good for real thin material. One time i tig welded my stick function didn't work afterwards.

The machine seems nice for the price but I been reluctant to buy a yeswelder. #1 most reviews for their brand are sponsored/reviewer got a free machine, or the reviewer exclusively does yeswelder. #2 This machine is on kickstarter only, which is like a red flag for me.

Very interesting and good review. Your steel Tig welds would be better if you cleaned the mill scale or rust from it (it performed well through the scale/rust). You didn't mention duty cycle or weight of the machine but it appears to be a fine hobbyist welder/plasma machine. Thank you for the review.
