This looks really great and isn't getting a lot of attention. The Alpine TRX was also on my list and has a ton of great features. Playseat Formula options were originally what caught my eye but the prices are really high. My initial plan was to start with a Playseat Trophy but knowing I'd replace it this feels like a "buy once, cry once" kinda scenario

Yea the TRX is what I was going to get because I spend just as much time doing ACC but the amount of flex that I could see when people are making their videos, especially if the TV was mounted on it so I decided I didn’t want to spend that much money for something that flexes that much but I can do three hours of GT3 in this cockpit and have zero issues. The seat is so comfortable and you have the exact same amount of wheel and pedal adjustments and I heard the playseat was not very comfortable just from what a read on reviews so I went with the FX1 and I love it. Shortly after I don’t know how they did it but made this video I upgraded to fanatec and it still has zero flex. It’s 100% that’s the most comfortable sim rig I’ve ever been in.

Thanks for mentioning the Alpine I’m currently considering both and yes the flexing was what let me down on the TRX

Yeah watching the whole thing shake and the seat and pedal plate flex was a killer for me. I’ve never sat in in the TRX but I can tell you that this is the most comfortable seat/rig I have ever raced in, and when you get in you feel really snug in a blanket in the couch kind of way. Extreme sim racing is a great company to work with. I ordered on a Sunday night and it was here on Friday you definitely can not go wrong with it

I really want an f1 style sim cockpit but the fx1 is too expensive same with the all the playseat ones so do you have a cheaper f1 style cockpit recommendation?

From what I can remember FX1 what’s the best when it came to the top companies. I think it was $1200 before taxes. Have you looked at the old F/GT cockpit? It still seems like people still buy them. I will look back because I believe I saw some hybrid formula cockpits that were cheaper. I will get back with you after I look threw my notes because I journaled all of the formula style cockpits and I have their names and price and I will give you the brand and price

The cheapest ones I could find were $900. Conspit FP lite was the best it seemed for the lower price range. You could to a profile rig and built it to be in the formula position

"There's no flex..." ....proceeds to demonstrate plenty of flex.

When you are not putting all your strength into it there is no flex. Can you make if flex of course. It very minimal even giving it everything I got but what really matters is their is zero flex under normal circumstances. Even with the DD+ upgrade
