After 3 days, I've discovered that trying to drive smooth and clean is slow. Throwing it into corners like some noob with no skill is the fastest way around the track. If they wanted to close the skill gap, I guess that's one way to do it.
Ive been saying this. Saying you like 24 aint a flex. The more you enjoy 24, the more you suck at ever other racing title.
But you will destroy your tires and at the end of the race you will regret that

Then set your difficultly to the perfect point where you can drive smooth and clean while having realistic performance vs AI , for me that's around 101 to 103 AI depending on the track, where you don't have to rely on the ridiculous turn in grip for laptime.
@@kingardk2233idk I wouldn’t say I like it but it’s a fun break from other sims to just absolutely send it into every corner is pretty fun

Thank you for this. lots to take on board. Question: With the Overtake button does it work only whilst you are holding it in? Or does it act like an on/off switch. One push its ON, next push its OFF?
you can change the setting, I have it so i have to hold the button but you can also click it on and off

Doesn't make lower tyre pressures atleast for more sense? Because of what i've noticed you can't warm the tyres by holding your brakes anymore and i always end up with ~75-80° when I start my quali lap
It should work that way yeah (at least from what I know )
I have to be honest. Its really not that bad. Im enjoying the game quite a lot!

Pretty sure it's hardcoded since they know that's the quickest line and so the line people will always take anyway.

to whoever says its realistic have you ever seen a f1 driver hit 180 degree steering in every corner, take maggots n beckets flat and do 1:05s in monaco?
They can do that irl of they want its not faster just like in game Monaco is different as its always been way faster ingame as you can take way more risk

There’s supposed to be a patch coming soon, hopefully that will fix the handling a bit
