Hello will this work on SPH-DA120 I get the error screen some times but not all the time I just wanna replace the card but wanna make sure it won’t mess my radio up
If Windows can’t read the SD card, this should erase everything and make the SD card blank and usable again. There will be no files on the card after this procedure. It has a mixed success rate. It works great for some people but there are others that it doesn’t work for.
Hmmm. That sounds strange. I know Amazon has a huge issue with counterfeit SD cards. I started purchasing mine direct from Samsung or the major brick and mortar retail stores. Not sure if that would be the issue though! Could always purchase a pre-loaded SD card on eBay as well!
AVIC-6000NEX Sometimes the unit will reboot once in a while & sometimes it will do it 2 or 3 times in the same day then it will continue to work fine for awhile does that mean the SD card is going bad? and how can i copy the files over to a new one? before it stops working completely. would it be as easy as taking out the old one and putting it in a PC copying the files or is there more to it then that? Definitely sounds like the SD card is on it's way out. I searched the AVIC411.com forums for a while as I remember someone posting the procedure to "rip" the image file from a known good SD card. If I recall it was pretty involved and required some writing of some code? Can't find it now though. HOWEVER - Maybe message this user? @@VanwithTim today it worked fine while driving. It has a mind of its own. I seen that there is a program that you put on a flash drive to backup the sd card maybe I can try that before it stops working all together. I only paid 75 for the radio on Ebay about a year ago but it didn't come with any harness or anything so I have about $115 all together in it. I see on ebay someone selling an sd card for $45. But would rather not spend that much on it.
@@stereomann83 Yeah definitely a shame it's an issue to begin with, then even more of a shame that people are profiting off of it instead of having the files available for free. At least there's a solution for under $50 if it comes down to it! Best of luck! -Tim

Unfortunately no. The 4500 will boot with the 4400 file but the touch screen will not function.

This doesnt work if you have put the SD card into the radio and powered it on. Its been locked and its now inaccessible.
