I touched the battery output wires, positive and negative very quickly and the jbd bms went into protection saying "locked MOS" and I can't get it to work anymore. Any suggestion to help me?

Thank you for being real about the fridge/freezer. I see so many vans with dometic fridges that they then hide & need to Tetris their way into it or don’t have a freezer. The dorm sized fridge like you have is the better option.

I’d be interested to know why you think it’s a terrible design to need to be in max ac mode to enter recirc. Most modern cars these days default to recirc on max cooling only

Make sure to follow the directions from HondaR and Van w/ Tim exactly. I failed to format the SD card to ex-fat prior to using Win32diskmanager and it wouldnt work. I tried again with the correct formatting and it worked like a charm on my 4400NEX. I also tried buying one off Ebay and it worked but it was extremely slow.

Honestly I've seen some truly smart ideas on this channel I'd assumed I'd already subbed, somehow I forgot. Subbed. Absolutely awesome ideas. That's what we need more of in this community, clever affordable and thrifty options for the layperson and this is a great idea.

The push button latches are a marine thing that I know of. I’m on a push boat right now and all the boats have them. Caution there is a cheap version I’ve seen on the boats that’s plastic button. Not cheap but that’s what I’m going with.

This fixed the top air vents in the rear but still no air from the front vents and still reads 80 to 90 from back vents even though psi is at 30, any way you can help me out? It’s an e-350 ford super duty van 2014

Asthmatic here, seasonal allergies as well. So being in areas that are prone to lowering in available oxygen impacts me greatly. This explains my sudden drowsiness after sitting in car on a drive for a small amount of time. Also, if you have a four way gas reader, it can / have alerted me to the decreased amount of available oxygen in my car. Interesting

Question about the front striker on the pillar : if I remove the striker bolts to change out the striker, will the inside plate stay there , or do I have to pull the interior trim and hold the plate?

My AC works fine but I do notice that after I passed 55 and I’m pushing on the gas it’s sputters like if it has like a vacuum leak or it’s not getting enough gas. Do you think this is the problem?

Cool idea! I'm thinking about doing something similar but different ... replacing the CR2032 battery with a CR123A battery that has about 6.5x the capacity. That should theoretically get a solid 6 years of service out of it.

I heard/learned that O2 needs CO2 in order to get pushed into the cells. That’s why nasal breathing is recommended. Slows the loss of CO2. ofc, I’m sure there is a ceiling for that amount.

How about you take the door off a large refrigerator and make a bed out of it. Plug it in, set your temperature and be cool for the night. During the day you can put a cushion over the top of the opening and use it as a cool couch. I got this idea from the young women that used to be all dressed up in southern attire at Cypress gardens. Looking so beautiful but they were sitting on cooling benches in the hot sun.

Fixed my ancient B&D toaster oven this morning (the metal contacts on the door switch had a bit of corrosion and some emery cloth solved it quickly - only 2 screws to remove the side panels and I could have done it with only the one!). In my research process I discovered your video. It had never occurred to me that I could recalibrate my oven control, so I was very interested to see the rest of this video. Kudos for persistence!!! In reading the comments (yup, lots of times you learn more in the comments than you did in the video!) someone suggested feeler gauges to aid in calibration and then you seconded that idea. Perfect! As a small engine mechanic I've got loads of feeler gauges so that should be an easy fix. Right now the oven will do about 350 when I set it to 400+ and it's been like that since I got it, so the next time I have to take it apart I'll be messing with that part of the oven. Thanks!!!

You should always use a DC/DC converter between batteries. A battery needs the right tension to rech full capacity. I don't have solar power it's not nececery car has a bigger alternator. Just save water instead of wasting it.
