Experiencing the Dragon Bridge Fire & Water Show & the Da Nang Night Market

We visit our first night market ever in Vietnam! The Son Tra night market in Da Nang is beside the dragon bridge. On our first night at the market we also saw the amazing show at the dragon bridge! The show is amazing as the dragon shoots fire and water from its mouth in huge plumes! The first night we caught this show from below and from afar, but we ended up going back to experience the show up close and personal. Yes, we got SOAKED!! Yes, we caught it all with the trusty GoPro!
The night market is right next to the bridge. On our first visit to the market, we got rolled ice cream, some cheap clothes and a foot massage. We went back another night to try more of the night market food, because its just what you have to do when you are in Vietnam!
Finally, we return to see the dragon show and we watch from up ON the bridge! We feel the heat of the dragon's fire and then we get completely showered and soaked when the water works start!! We had a blast!
We hope you enjoy seeing some of the typical nightlife that can be experienced in Da Nang.

It was so hilarious! We couldn't believe HOW unexpectedly wet we were getting and everyone else screaming, laughing and running away (they were clearly surprised too!). We are super happy that we went back for that! LOL

Hey M&J! Do consider visiting cambodia during Khmer New Year in Mid April. It's a very fun festival where locals play with water and powder on the streets; parties go on all day and night!
I'm also considering a similar lifestyle as what you folks have commenced on. Would be keen to chat to learn more from your experience :)
Thailand has a similar festival for their New Year in April, which we will be there for. I believe just water, no powder. But we may have to consider Cambodia for next April because that sounds fun!

@@mitchandjan 7600 islands,but really only 11,big ones and 3 sections, north is Luzon,and Manila.,Middle is Visayas and Cebu,South is Mindanao,and Davao..Bantayan is the hidden gem Boracay is famous,but now ruined in that it's overwhelmed with hotels And Cebus Mactan Island where the airport is,has ordinary beacjs,but excellent resorts that you can visit for like 15 dollars,and enjoy the largest lagoon in southeast Asia,the malls are excellent.Baguio,is way north and cooler,with strawberries...annyewayy,I.
