Futbology is the 🐐. Genuinely changed my life. Currently traveling the world watching football. Would've never done it without it Can't recommend it enough
Awesome. Come back to the malaysian cup finale. 80000 attendance at the bukit jalil stadium, usually great athomsphere and a great battle between (usually) JDT and one of the Klang valley clubs. ... football quality is like 4th tier EU but it doesn't matter -> still a fight for a trophy and great emotions. Keep it up. Awesome content ❤
Really enjoyed these the last few days Sam. Football really is a universal language, colours, teams and little things differ, but the passion for the game all over the world just seems palpable, thank you for bringing this too us
@ it’s all football mate, no matter where it’s from, honestly, it’s a brilliant look at the game around the world, awesome work on the game that binds us all together more than it separates us (despite what it sometimes feels like)
Hey that's me! 8:25 Anyways the love (or hate) was never lost in this derby, even today. The UltraSel were bringing the Selangor squad to the finish line with their thunderous chants. Selangor got their revenge this game and you could tell the joy was there for the Selangor faithful, but there were disdain for the fans for the Capital. Heck, even after the game, the Cityboys (Kuala Lumpur Ultras) chanted "Selangor Balik!" (Selangor Go Home!) postmatch.* That is the sight of the emotional weight of this derby even if around 5000 came to attend. Anyways, we Malaysian fans would hope you two will cover more Malaysian football! Thanks! Update: There's a video covering the CityBoys chant, they were actually chanting "Selangor anjing" (Selangor you dogs) apparently after some home fans threw chants at the KL City fans. th-cam.com/video/de3RORdSXz8/w-d-xo.htmlm47s
9:10 to be honest, the match between Selangor and Johor has only recently becomes big. prior to that, Selangor vs Perak was the biggest match and we refer to that as El Clasico Malaya. even now, it's still a pretty big game that is unquestionably superior to the Klang Derby in term of atmosphere and attendance.
Good video. The MBPJ Stdm needs to look into the male restroom issue seriously! Am sure there is one proper one somewhere else in the stdm for the home supporters.
@FootyAdventures we hope you can comeback watch Malaysia 🇲🇾 vs Vietnam 🇻🇳 upcoming this June for Asian Qualifiers. That match gonna be intense, you can feel the atmosphere and last but not least Ultras Malaya 💛🖤. Its gonna be insane, highly recommended.
I hoping to see Selangor there in the 2nd leg of the Malaysian Challenge Cup Final in February, assuming they win the semi-final. It would become the 27th country I've seen football in, and the 137th ground outside England and Wales (I had to check - I don't just know). I love going to football abroad, as outside of the giant club venues, it's a genuine locals experience. Some of my favourites have been smaller places, such as Lyra in the Belgium 4th division (ground sadly gone), Spezia in Italy, Go Ahead Eagles, or Bohemians in Prague.
17:08 I witnessed in situ two that would give this one a run for its money, both within a month of each other. The first one was a penalty three times over (on an indirect free kick being crossed into the box, three of our guys were tripped in the box; the fools over at the booth took almost ten minutes to call a questionable offside out of a certain body cavity and award squat), and the other was this last Saturday (hand ball in the box, lino in sight of the play who decided not to call it, ref called to the TV for review... signal got lost between the stadium and the VAR booth, sixteen minutes later and no fix caused the ref to continue play)
You mention Malaysia plays the national anthem before games I think them and the US Canada and Mexico are the only countries that play the national anthem before games.
European clubs and competitions are very diverse. Yes, USA also has foreign players, but Europe doesn't really have that patriotism that USA has. For example: - Real madrid has 23 players in their current squad, but only 6 are Spanish. - Internazionale has 26 players in their current squad, only 7 are Italian. The only competition in UEFA that plays the national anthem, that i can think of, is Azerbaijan.
I really think that Scottish football fans are just different. They love attending these sort of games wherever they live. They possess none of the snobbery we see among fans of the bigger leagues and just want to enjoy the fitba.
Selangor is like the Old Guard of Malaysian football. Before JDT got their royal investments, Selangor was the biggest team in Malaysia. They are record Malaysia Cup winners, 33 times, and also had a stadium as big as Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund. When Singapore had a team in the Malaysia Leagues, it was the real Cross Causeway Derby that attracted full house, but the Lions withdrew in 1995 to concentrate on professionalising their local leagues. Singapore was also the 2nd most successful team in Malaysia with 28 times.
i saw u at the stadium but im not quite sure that it was you! gutted that i didn't say hi but glad that u like the experience and hope to see u again #ForzaSelangor 🔴🟡
Heard of Futbology app.😮 Never used this. Don’t think i will.😅 As you are in Asia continent, are you able to go bashundhara kings in Bangladesh? A quirky League for you. Nice video of Malaysia today after you been Singapore and Indonesia.
kl city didnt have so many supporters, idk why. but nvm atleast we still get 3 points. kl city journey has been quite tough lately. in malaysia, the game will be full if there’s final matches. the most common tagging for them is #bangsafinal 😅
Come to the JDT stadium witches the best stadium in sea..jdt progressing for being tough because jdt wanted all footballs teams in malaysia fighting trying to take down the JDT so they will find source for their teams for being tough facing JDT..so that football in malaysia will be tougher
Sam why you didn't you tell me you coming to kl man hmmmmm. I didn't know you came here. I was there at the game. If you remember me at celtic park last year.
I wonder if those lads are going to watch all your old videos and end up being Harthill or Pollock supporters. So instead of Arsenal and Man U tops, when you go back. It's all Pollock tops.
Unfortunately it's not a proper derby because 🔴🟡 is representing a state while Kuala Lumpur City is representing a city. A proper derby should be Shah Alam vs Kuala Lumpur.
3:47 Ahhh, Malaydesh. 4:25 I call it the Kling Klang. 6:47 The amount of shirt sponsor of that dude in left is as worse as Austria's. Horrendous. 14:53 Fangirl detected. La Liga is a nonce.
Which other derbies should I visit in Asia?
@@FootyAdventures Chinese derby trust me

Loving these Asian videos. You can really see your enthusiasm throughout all the videos 👏

+ 🔴🟡 vs 🟡⚫ can also be considered as a derby because both states shared a same border
In the 80s of course
Bro been your fans like so long. Gutted couldn't see you at the stadium 😭. Love watching your content
I love this channel mate, i love football aswell and would love to do something similar as you. Big respect brother 🤩

@hakkepak that's not what I meant at all or was talking about. I meant like the national anthems are not played in England or Scotland before games
@justinganz1173 I know, and its because of the less patriotism and the diversity, that are mainly the reasons for it.
Saudi Arabia and India also have their national anthem plays before league matches start
I didn’t know that, thanks for the info
