The journey continues! The support on this series so far has been unbelievable, thanks to everyone that’s been a part of the journey! More content on the way soon🙏🏼
Oh Joe, gutted for you. You did your very best and should be proud you competed, you've had to battle through injuries this season. With your positivity and dedication I'm sure you're going to achieve your goals. You've got lots of support and im looking forwards to watching the next stage of your journey! Its a privelige to be able to share your training regime.
This year has been tough for sure, probably one of my toughest ever, but I’m glad that I went out there fighting and gave it what I had on the day. I’m excited to get back running PB’s soon🙏🏼
Nice rebound Joe at the Continental Tour Bronze meet in Cork, Ireland. Seasonal best to boot! You are just as genuine in person as on TSO! More to come!
Thanks for sharing your journey, Joe. That's courageous. Best wishes as you continue to work hard towards achieving your goals. You will do so in due season. Blessings. Big up from the Caribbean.
That finish in the Semis was excellent. Tough luck in the finals. I'm a fairly new creator on here and have followed and admired your journey. Be proud of yourself. Get rest, healed and back up on the horse👍
Been following your journey for a couple months now. Thanks so much for sharing and maintaining a positive attitude through it all. Hoping the rest of your season goes well, we are continuing to cheer you on!
Hard luck Joe, your clearly disappointed with the result. You did your best should be proud of your achievement to be in with other top level athletes. Well done !!!! The journey continues.
It's tough Joel. Lane 1 didn't help you. Your journey is an inspiration to all watching. I myself are fighting my way back to form. (60yrs old). 2 yrs ago I ran 5x200m in 26s in training. 6 weeks out from my state championships. In that 6 week period. I started to struggle to complete sessions. I thought I was tired as I shift work. Then on race day I lifted of the curve and hit a wall. I struggled to get to the line. Result 28.86 wtf? I had a big lactic spew in the drainage pit. Said to myself what was that. Turns out after some tests I had Rectal cancer stage 3. My sporting focus helped me literally shit out the tumer during radiation and chemotherapy. Then it came back, so I had surgery to remove my arse. Now I have a permanent stoma bag. This was over a year of training when I could. I restarted training 4 weeks post surgery. Turns out the radiation kills your core. Went from hanging leg raises of 6x10reps with diagonal ones, down to 1 gut busting rep. I'll be back to form come next comp in November. 25.9 is the goal. Life throws you crap sometimes. The only thing that matters is. What you do next.
Definitely a tough situation, thanks for the support! Wow I’m sorry to hear that, but brilliant that you’re fighting back into shape and going after your goal, wishing you all the best!
I’ve been keeping up with the journey and how you continue to bounce back has been inspiring. I know you’ll continue to train and I pray for your future and can’t wait for what’s next!
That’s what it’s all about, being able to come back fighting and do your best! I’m glad you’ve been able to see the journey so far, let’s keep it going🙏🏼
Don’t give up mate. 20.2 shape was getting you to the world 🌍 200m semis You dropped your time massively. Your time will come champ chin up your still young sub 10 and sun 20 ain’t 1 million miles away best of luck 🎉
@@joeferguson200 you will do it. Jesus 11.7 and 23.9 as a 16 year old did me 15 years ago happy times loved sprinting. Would they not consider you for the relay atall?
Those are still great times! And unfortunately I just haven’t produced a quick enough legal 100m SB to make the relay squad, but looking forward to going out and improving that time in the next few weeks!
Unlucky pal, been watching you for a while now, given me plenty of motivation to keep pushing on, God bless you & What’s the name of the song playing whilst you were warming up for the 200?
Yo Joe, you're an amazing content creator and it's a skill thaf can put bread on the table w/o a doubt in the future. I'm very inspired and enjoying your vlogs. You know yourself quite well, but something tells me you can level up if you somehow join Louis Hincheliffe with Carl Lewis for a year. It's the perfect environment imo. Good luck mate, you got this.
@@meetkiro Thanks a lot man much appreciated! I hear you, there’s just a lot that goes into making those big changes and right now I’m trusting my plan and seeing it through, lots of respect for Louie & the breakthrough he’s made 👊🏼

what are the flats you are using for warmup and general sessions? Could the other viewers maybe suggest a few good ones? I heard the asics Magic speed 3 is good?
The race day flats are the Adizero SL. And for general training I like the adidas supernova range, Adidas supply all my kit so that’s what I’m using right now!
Not going to be what you want to hear right now, but you are a very big fish in your current training group amongst national sprinters. May be time to consider taking a step up to a group with Olympic/World sprinters in if the opportunity presents itself? Every sports athlete has to make that tough call sooner or later. Best of luck 👍🏼
I appreciate the feedback, for me at the moment I enjoy my training environment and we do have some great sprinters in the group, I understand your point though and that’s partially why I like to do sessions with Richard (Kilty) whenever I get chance. For now it’s a case of getting the momentum back and laying down some good times before the season ends🙌🏼
