It's our very own motoring Mythbusters, a series where we bust or confirm some ideas or misconceptions about motoring. Seemingly, there is a lot of opinion, some of it not so well informed, around hybrid and electric cars.

In this video we explore the idea that hybrids are great for fuel economy but terrible on performance.
