Exceptional plane, I must read the guide but did fly it once and is a beautiful model with some what large amount of detail which must be appreciated by the department team on an iconic plane by Just Flight. Slainte ❤️
The Vulcan bomber was built at Woodford Aerodrome, Cheshire, UK. It's now a £1M+ housing development, but still retains a museum and the new excellent 'Aviator Pub' . I've just enjoyed a meal and a beer in there tonight!
I will 100% be getting this amazing aircraft! I will also be using the efb and the gps system as I am just a simmer and a massive noob! This gives me a twitch in my undercarriage!
Wow, this looks to be a great mod. I do believe however, there might've been a slight tail strike on the first rotation early in the flight. I saw another video on this beta release and noticed that once you reach rotation speed you simply release the forward stick pressure, and the plane will rotate nicely with fairly no input from the pilot. Excellent video nonetheless!
That's an awesome product by justflight. They've really captured the aircraft and its cockpit and reproduced it faithfully in the sim. I love how everything in the cockpit looks and sounds like you're driving a steam locomotive 😂
I have listened to your video, and will continue to do so, as an outstanding tutorial on the complex start-up procedure. Thanks for helping the user community!!
I don't know the weight of nuclear weapons of this era , but modern thermonuclear warheads like the W88 (475 kt TNT) of the US Navy for Ohio-class missile subs have an estimated weight about 200 to 400 kg including the re-entry vehicle. The fission device is rather small, most the blast comes from fusion and you don't much fusion fuel for such an explosion.
Just Flight are dead right about the bank after take-off. I saw a number of displays in the 1970s and 80s, and after a steep climb from the runway, the aircraft would bank over 90 degrees onto one wing tip, before throttling back and levelling up to start the display routine. It was hair-raising to watch.
"This preview build features only the Olympus 301 engine sounds, which we recorded from a real Vulcan (XM655). The 301s didn't have the significant howl sounds that the 201s fitted to XH558 did, so this is true to life. The release build will include both 201 and 301 sounds, including the howl."

As Yannick said. The 301 engines currently included in the preview build didnt have the howl. Both engine types will be in the final release build though 👍🏼
@@lluvik2450they recorded this from Vulcan XM655 at Wellesbourne Field, the engines were the Olympus 301 rather then the Olympus 201 which has the Iconic Howl. The 301 has the pure roar only.
Now you have to ditch her in the Carribean so that Spectre can steal the nuclear warheads. ;)
😂😂😂👍🏼
Disney land. Realising, I could go on all day, it's TH-cam Gold. 😅
This is amazing honestly, she’s an icon of her day. Looked like a dragon in the skies with those wings. She sounded like nothing else at airshows 🤯
God yea that howl !! Nothing like it before or since
No way they did this😂 There is no other addon-dev than justflight from which I would have wanted this airplane. This thing is so incredibly ingenious

Wow. The level of detail is nuts

Fantastic, this is a must buy for me 🇬🇧
OUTSTANDING video! Thanks for a thorough tutorial!

Thanks for the video Emanuel, you should try the Avro on the mach loop :)
Remove the nuke! Haha funny comment matey. Nice birdy
Nicely done! Shame we won't likely see a well modeled Victor or Valiant to complete the V Force.
A flying Vulcan in the British skies is very very sorely missed
Why can’t I find this in the marketplace?
Lol ❤️ 😆 🤣 😂 Join the club 🤣

I’m just curious what 737 airline did you used to fly for?

Nice to know we have a nuke on standby. You know. Just in case WW3 breaks out in Microsoft Flight Simulator
How is the Autopilot for those long climbs etc. ?
It got an IAS HOLD mode so that should get you going.
Can it do air refueling in the Sim? Because otherwise I will not gonna make it over to the Falkland Islands. 🤔
There's an option called A2A Refueling in the EFB, but I haven't tried that yet.
Geiles Teil! Schade nur um den berühmten Vulcan-Howl, aber vielleicht kommt der ja auch noch irgendwann 😅

Genau wie Jannik sagt.
1:06:47 i think that was the first time I’ve ever heard a German laugh
It looks cool and sounds awesome. I'm not much of a military plane flyer though, but I guess you can't really get around an iconic plane like this :)
Exactly my thoughts 👍🏼
A Vulcan, a Phantom or a Tomcat are planes you just can't miss, just like a Jumbo, a Concorde or an A380.
No outside “Vulcan howl” shot? 😢

@@Jannik_Steinthanks. Not even sure if MSFS could simulate the howl - the camera would need to be stationary for a Vulcan fly-over I guess.

i just wonder if the sound is accurate at all
Well it's recorded from the real aircraft so you'd certainly hope so.
@@justflight yeah im just wondering because its generally been my experience in msfs that military aircraft engines sound way off

The plane that nuked America….twice
😅
why cant I use the EFB, it doesnt let me click anything
