My mum has always said if you look good, you feel good. So when I lived at home and whenever I was down, she would tell me to wash my hair. Because there is something about washing your hair that just makes you feel like a fresh new person. Love you girls so much! I never had breakup blues. Usually by the time we breakup I have been crying about the dying relationship for some time. The breakup is the last thing ...like a confirmation of my sad thoughts.

It’s best to go through breakups by yourself because most people don’t understand and people get tired of hearing people cry and complain but it feels good to vent when you’re hurt & it makes you feel better sometimes
Breakup Blues : for me actually I’m going through this right now , my friend is in a really bad breakup right now and it hurts for me to see them like this but I keep talking and trying to encourage them to do something that gets their mind off of it ! My biggest advice for the breakup blues is to focus on YOU. Don’t get caught up in thinking about who your ex is dating, how to get back with them, or trying to get a reaction out of them by dating someone else. They don’t care and neither should you. Live through the pain and no matter how hard it is, always preserve your self respect. It’ll eventually get better and you’ll be happy that you didn’t make a fool of yourself.

I deal with things on my own but I think it’s important to be a supportive friend if they need you. What kind of friend are you if you can’t be supportive and compassionate to the people you love?! I have been supportive to strangers. Don’t coddle, there are limits, but be compassionate. That’s your way of being, Adrienne, but different people need different things. And you look needy as hell. So even if it’s not in a breakup I’m sure you need your loved ones in other ways.

It’s best to go through breakups by yourself because most people don’t understand and people get tired of hearing people cry and complain but it feels good to vent when you’re hurt & it makes you feel better sometimes
Breakup Blues : for me actually I’m going through this right now , my friend is in a really bad breakup right now and it hurts for me to see them like this but I keep talking and trying to encourage them to do something that gets their mind off of it ! I’m making sure they feel better and to keep things in good spirits... they’re starting to get better but geez going through breakups can be rough

All good points with many areas of life. it almost destroyed me not giving myself the right to be sad, keeping everything to myself, so I do grieve now over rough times and I’m a much happier person, and I stand up for myself in some way no matter who it is. I’m not the kind to post things but I talk to friends about it 😊

I am currently going through a break up and I’m trying to figure out what’s working for me. I do like talking about it because it helps me see why it happened or how can I move on. I need to figure out how to be alone with this. It’s hard right now because he just left me and I think being alone will reinforce that sadness and loneliness.
After watching this, y’all have helped me find some light and a path out of my sadness even just a little. So thank you!

My biggest advice for the breakup blues is to focus on YOU. Don’t get caught up in thinking about who your ex is dating, how to get back with them, or trying to get a reaction out of them by dating someone else. They don’t care and neither should you. Live through the pain and no matter how hard it is, always preserve your self respect. It’ll eventually get better and you’ll be happy that you didn’t make a fool of yourself.

I never sat and cried for a week over a guy. I give myself 1 or 2 days of being sad but after that I say that's it I love myself more and no guy or person in general is allowed to break my heart. My heart is precious to me so that's it I say he's gone coz I deserve better and better is coming on the way

I'm sorry guys , I needed to vent. I was left alone too long. I decided that ppl do care but family gets tired of the sulking, mine does, so when your alone. Your alone because their trying to cope. I cope by thinking goal oriented and learning about self. Never been alone ever. So now I'm learning. God's my best friend. Thank for your positive msg's and deep concern. This has been crazy. But hopefully it's almost over and Covid families and everyone your always in my prayers. God bless, stay safe, and healthy.

I deal with things on my own but I think it’s important to be a supportive friend if they need you. What kind of friend are you if you can’t be supportive and compassionate to the people you love?! I have been supportive to strangers. Don’t coddle, there are limits, but be compassionate.
That’s your way of being, Adrienne, but different people need different things. And you look needy as hell. So even if it’s not in a breakup I’m sure you need your loved ones in other ways.
I’m with Jeanie and Adrienne about guarding your heart and you can’t big a wall that you can’t take down. I also don’t go straight to social media although some people don’t have people to talk to in real life so they try to reach out that way
