I love how you can tell that Loni is an engineer by the fact that instead of drawing her emotions she instead drew a chart. It’s such a honor to see such a smart amazing women on tv, she’s such an inspiration! She’s beautiful too!

This is so true I was trying for 4 years after 6 miscarriages I finally gave up 6 months later I was pregnant thought I was dying went to the doctor in was 8 weeks pregnant chalked it up and prepared myself as another baby who wasn't gone make it 😥 buuuuuut 2/1 years later I have a wonderful son Olshea Carr 👶🏽 I love him he was my angel baby😍😍😍😍

Tamera’s story is a beautiful one. She did not have her first child until 35 and second at 37/38 if I’m not mistaken. I loved that they stopped “trying” and just had fun 😝 and allowed it to happen. More hope for women in their 30’s who haven’t had children yet and encouragement to pace yourself & truly enjoy your #thirtyjourney! 😊
Yeh her story is beautiful but couples especially women should reduce their stress level by "trying too hard" to get pregnant. There are lots of women having healthy children in their 40s, first child, and it is not a big deal.Women needs to take care of themselves very early on in life.

@Boss boss Contradiction? Fertility peaks at 27 and drops faster after 35. Also older men can produce unhealthy offspring too according to recent studies.
@Boss boss There are two people involved in having babies but often it's always the women that face the onslut of negativity, men's quality of sperm is easily affected by so many factors (couple with the fact they are less keen on preventative healthcare) that are often overlooked.
There is no doubt that having babies when you are younger or matured is the best time but life is never that simple! It is good to have unbiased information about ones health , I personally dislike fear mongering, people should not forget that fertility medicine is a multibilion dollar industry, and one of the biggest if not the biggest "money machine".
When it comes to having healthy babies, having healthy bodies is crucial, 25/45yrs old.
I love how Jeannie is so articulate in every show. Like Tamara mentioned before, Jeannie is witty and good with words.

Adrianne sounds a little insensitive "Dust yourself off and try again" A lot of women go through trying to get pregnant and they don't get pregnant or they miscarry. The whole journey is emotionally and physically draining.
And now she is going through it because she wants to get pregnant (now that she is married) and thought it would be easy but is disappointed that it's harder than she thought. I guess now she'll understand the struggle
And now she is experiencing this. In a recent episode she actually said she’s trying to have a baby so I guess how she gets it.
The whole journey *is* very draining, but how does replacing a word change that? I kind of agree with Adrienne in terms of changing the word, not the whole "dust yourself off and try again". It just makes no sense to tell someone "I know you've gone through a lot and miscarried twice, but you know what will help you from now on? Just say preparing instead of trying!". It sounds so dumb and to me it sounds worse.
Preparing means you're expecting for sure to have it work out. While trying only means that you'll do anything that is in your power. Using prepare instead of try makes it sound so much worse to me.
I swear to God if the english language had evolved in a way where we actually were using "preparing" instead of "trying" we would have this same conversation reversed.
The only one I can sort of get on board with is Tamera's "having fun". Because that way you'll put a positive spin on it and remind yourself to enjoy every part of the journey.

Right. Karma is a biatch. I have learned that and now I try not to have an opinion about everything or take pride in something.

Boss boss why is it her fault? He still asked her to marry him know that she didn’t want kids. Not to mention, that wasn’t even the reason they split. It been revealed that Freddie was unfaithful for a long time.

If she is going through fertility treatments your weight fluctuates with that as well.

I agree wit6h Adrienne, you are TRYING for a baby. Preparing means the baby is coming and you are buying a crib or diapers ect. Sometimes the baby is never coming, so if you say you are preparing and a year later there is no baby, you'll get a lot more questions than if you were just saying you are trying. Some women cannot have kids, no matter how hard they try. This is nothing new.
Book Bag personally, I think you shouldn’t say either and just go for it just like Tamera said...they just had fun. If you put pressure on yourself and it’s something you want really bad, you’re just putting desperation vibes in the universe and setting yourself up. Just don’t announce anything and “have fun” and if it’s supposed to happen it will, stress free...but I can see using the work prepare is like subconsciously saying “when” and trying is like subconsciously saying “if” so they do give off very different underlying meanings...but yeah it can be confusing lol

I honestly believe when it comes to certain things... perception is one crazy thing and is just as powerful as power of the tongue , people might see " Im preparing to have children " as in " I'm on a journey to get pregnant and I'm planning ) while some might see it as " im pregnant and we're getting ready for the baby to come in a few weeks... " and some might see it as in " Preparing for the Worst , but Hoping For the Best " so it's all about how people perceive and also the delivery or certain things

I agree with Tamera, I had that experience too. The moment we stopped trying, was the moment when we got pregnant. So instead of saying we am trying to get pregnant, we said that will have a baby soon. and we prayed about it and my son prayed hard for a sibling. Now our bundle of joy is a one year old.
That's a lot of happiness .....

I’m with A. Trying is what you’re doing. Preparing insinuates it will happen when you don’t know what can happen. Preparing for something that may not happen isn’t good for you. Trying to get to that point is realistic bc you understand it is a journey. You hope it will happen but you aren’t sure it will. It’s such an emotionally draining process. I stopped saying anything and just kept the mindset of I’m having fun and it eventually happened thank god.
