    Port injection is alway a game changer on GDI engines. Had the same benefit on my old Mazdaspeed 6, then on my TTV8 Benz, and now on my Kona N. It not only makes allows for more power, but it washes the intake valves fully, keeping them clean.

      Yeah. I had my 13 bk2 3.8 Genesis coupe walnut blasted at 100k to clean the carbon. Mine was actually not as bad as i was anticipating. My mechanic who did it said it wasn't near as bad as some of the Turbo cars he's done.

    Port injection and a strong lpfp with lines will likely be the most cost effective solution to run e85 similar to the mqb cars. Hpfp would be more beneficial for a very high hp level. 500hp is about to be very possible for this platform soon, I can’t wait to get runs in with more N cars 👌🏼

    These cars need port injection and E85 sensor and a flash tune software without needing to unlock ecu first. Then more people would buy these.

      @ huge waste of money, the dealer can see your ecu was swapped due to key cycles. IF THEY WANT TO DENY THEY WILL DENY. Best bet is to find one local to you with a tech who owns an n car.
      If your gonna get tuned you STILL need datalogging capabilities I.e a ek1. Legit pointless to get a spare for any purpose.

    Is the sonata fuel pump a good mod for a stock tuner car?

    • @8lakk5unshine
      @8lakk5unshine 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, I wa running 320 whp and I think the OEM pump was bad, bc it stopped my fuel cuts. The issue really, is that it is a crap shoot with these fuel pupmps. You should always buy from a reputable buyer and don't cheap out. Look at the reviews and buy from someone who has lots of reviews averaging higher than 4. Remember, some of these HPFP are good and some are not so you have to monitor them.

    Been in one......lol....I remember when those cars came to the US....I've worked on them in the 80s....they are worse now. With so many lawsuits. They are so back logged on replacing engines that have burned the ground. It's awful. A 10 year old Toyota or Honda will compete with a new kia or Hyundai any day. I drive a1995 300ZX TT with HICAS 4 wheel steering. I remember when we're just as reliable as they were fun to drive. I've work on many Kias and Hyundai, from thar engine to their tranny.....I cannot describe how bad they are period.
